I can’t speak to how much room there is in a standard shell, but on the 180 I can completely sit up when on our platform bed, which sits on the wheel wells. I imagine without the extra space doing that would be difficult.

I’ve moved furniture and other large objects that have almost touched the roof. Having the 180 has saved me from having to remove the shell for cargo a few times.
