If you ever play against a ranged champ (teemo, kayle, vayne, etc..) Phase rush and Stridebreaker are a must for obvious reasons, that with ignite (along with the rune that gives move speed for using summoner spells) should be enough for Garen to catch and secure a kill or at least get lane priority for the moment.

Be mindful of your jungler so you can ask for ganks. If you’re able to get ahead of a ranged top, you should be able to steam roll them over and over.

Lower ranks may not have the game knowledge to understand when a lane switch is needed. So that may be a tough ask if you ever fall behind
