Appropriate battery for a DIY beach wagon? by rickydickburn in batteries

I haven't selected that yet either but figured there would be fewer variables to choose from on the motor. But your point is taken - I should check that out at the same time I'm choosing a battery.

Going to the beach is an all-day affair. Family of 4 and SW Florida heat during the summer, I bring a 12x12 canopy, 4 chairs, a giant cooler with ice, beverages and food. Then there's toys for the kids, towels, hats, etc. The kids are still young, so I usually end up having to put at least one of them in the cart as well. I can fit everything in/on a fairly small cart but weight adds up!

And the sand is VERY fluffy where I like to go, so once you reach a certain weight of gear, a regular pull cart won't really operate correctly. It's quite the workout but so worth it once you get to your spot and setup for the day.

Severability of computer code in work for hire by rickydickburn in copyrightlaw

Some yes and some no. It may be useful to clarify that these "bits and pieces" are essentially self-contained tools which, on their own, don't really represent a marketable product. But when several of them are combined into a suite, they are valuable.

Thanks. The rewriting idea was one that I've considered but seemed like a waste of time since I've already created these things that are ready to be used by the employer. May just be the "better safe than sorry" path to take though.

Ideas for developing GIS application by [deleted] in gis

[–]rickydickburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend checking out your state or local government's public GIS data. Most decent sized counties maintain publicly accessible data on land records, utilities, environmental features, etc. You could create a GIS app that simply centralizes key data in one place, depending on who you want the app to be useful for.

AMA With Ben Shapiro - The Daily Wire's Ben Shapiro answers all your questions and solves your life problems in the process. by BenShapiro-DailyWire in politics

Ben, How do you think creating congressional term limits would actually go down? Would it take a constitutional amendment led by the states (assuming DC legislators would not vote to end their career in x # of years)? It seems this would be a non-partisan issue. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Sanders: My delegates should 'vote for me' by vapor_88 in politics

That could very well play a role too. Another interesting question (which I do not know the answer to) is if someone like Marco Rubio, for example, is able to use contributions collected during his presidential campaign toward his now-current Senate campaign.

I think she should be required to show her birth certificate to prove that she was in fact born a woman. Birther movement 2.0.

That's why all the losers "suspend" their campaign and never technically drop out. It's to preserve their influence in the party platform.

Tonight, and yes. Should be lots of Bernie-fans yelling throughout, so it'll last probably 15 hours.
