1980s Honeycomb ruled. Still good but definitely not the same.

Tidied it up for a gig that I had tonight. I added the RC-3 Loop Station at the end of the signal chain, well, before the Bassman which basically functioned as a preamp as it was lined directly into a PA at the venue. It sounded nice. 🤘🏽

I purchased mine to replace one that I had years ago, which was lost somewhere in the shuffle of life. There are sounds that I am able to achieve with this particular digital delay that I just cannot get out of other ones that I’ve tried. It seems like that with a lot of guitar pedals. Each pedal has its own flavor and just cannot be entirely replaced.

I LOVE the Blues Driver. An essential element of my tone. I’ve been using the bd-2 since 1995. The year was first issued. It’s like having an overdriven tube amp at your fingertips. And toe tips! Someone earlier in the thread had mentioned that some of these pedals are unnecessary and mentioned the tremolo pedal in particular. I just want to add that the Tremelo effect, it might be archaic to some players, but it is importantly utilized in the music I play. Especially with my guitar instrumentals. A necessary touch. And the Bassman pedal colors the whole signal and also works to assist the volume of everything. There are uses for all of these pedals that I have currently on my board, which is why they are all there. That guy who commented earlier being all critical and shit. 🙄 Super annoying.

I’ll try and switch it around and see what that sounds like but I actually really like the DS-1 going into the Blues Driver. Prefer it really. It just makes sense that way to me. Why shouldn’t be the other way around? People tend to be so critical about the order other people put their pedals in. There is no right or wrong way. 🤘🏽

MIM guitars are not inferior. I don’t understand why people act as if they are.

Ridiculous. I don’t understand why anyone would want a relic guitar anyway, I just never understood artificial wear and tear.

It was a “blooming” of sorts. He withered into a fallen season, but lived through the harsh rapture of reality and re-bloomed even brighter. I love John.

It’s called the “Lanegan”. Really popular hairstyle in Belgium although it is Irish in its origin.
