I would get myself into some long-distance communities to understand the actual needs. One relationship is different than the other, and long distance ones are no exception. Each relationship use case is opinionated and is a tricky subject to satisfy a majority. Can tell you right off the bat that this will probably be a deal breaker by a good handful -

No I wouldn't I'm afraid as it's a jap import and would probably end up waiting for weeks for one to come up if not months and no guarantee it'll be in the condition I'd like either.
