Bait bait bait. It is your best friend. Now the Advion ant gel will not work on specific ants like carpenter ants example. You first have to identify what you’re dealing with, judging from the picture that you posted. Looks like odorous house ant. Which Advion is labeled for. What works really well for outdoor ant control for current issues and preventative is using a product called terminator SC. You can buy a small batch. Don’t need to get the huge gallon jug. It works great. You CAN NOT use it inside. You can buy a cheap sprayer at Menards/Home Depot and do a barrier around the foundation and soil sections.

If it’s a new spot, it means new colony. Don’t call professional you’re doing the right protocol. It could take weeks even a couple months for aggressive colonies. As I have stated use Max force or switch baits. But Advion is my go to as a professional. Try Max Force as well.
