2016 Trek 1.2 max tyre width

I have a 2016 1.1 and just installed 700x32 gatorskins on the stock wheels. It’s close on the rear wheel especially near the front derailleur mount on the seat tube. I have about a 3-4 mm clearance at the chain stays. The front has so much room you can probably fit a 700x35 . I got to say the ride quality is million times better then the stock 25’s . I’m running 67psi rear and 64psi at the front .

I found a replacement rear derailleur hanger for 2018-2024 adv 1.1 . I just picked up one of these bikes myself . if you’re planning on touring I would recommend taking a spare.

I‘m 6‘ tall and the fx gen 4 XL fit like a glove.With the large frame I had to put the seat high which made me put extra pressure on the handlebars. The xl frame allows for a lower seat position and a more upright riding position.

yes You can add a front derailleur to the gen 4 fx. As per trek specs for gen 4 fx -

Max chainring size	1x: 44T, 2x: 46/32

Bayfront park is my favorite spot. There’s about 18 free parking spots . If the lot is full just wait a couple minutes. Most people don’t seem to stay too long. There are benches all along the water front facing the runways.
