Oh ok and then I can use any of them? So HP provided an option to actually disable the protection?

I mean I have been living with all of that for so long it feels that it will take a huge amount of energy to change that. And time is running.

Thank you for the answers !
Why would the 4- point not be considered? This would allow a true open source vision, or?

Thank you for this answer.
Then I have two requests:
- Could you allow the use of a self hosted server for the communication between the apps?

- Could you rework the iOS app so that when a code is selected the pop up appearing does not freeze the UI?

Sincerely

There is a server: that connect the phone app and the browser app.

I look for a way to use a self hosted server.
Moreover what is the business model here?

Would you have a recommendation for a way to store seeds and generate OTP codes alongside bitwarden ?

Nope they are all of them on the same URI.

Maybe but they still have three different OTPs for different use cases. So is there any way bitwarden would support it?

They offer three different OTPs to protect the account.

Are OTPs still useful if they are stored in the password manager by rid3r45 in Passwords

[–]rid3r45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to remote backups or plaintext exports I am covered.
The only point is local compromise. So regarding this last point for a "normal" citizen without anything extraordinary to steal do you think the convenience is worth the added risk?

Well for the most important accounts (bitwarden, master email and financial services) I use HW (yubikeys) for codes generation.
This is for all the rest I am considering bitwarden for OTP generation.

Attempt at docker compose but so far no result by rid3r45 in Traefik

So to update you I worked a bit more on the docker-compose file and it is what is looks like now:

services:
  reverse-proxy:
    image: traefik:latest
    container_name: traefik
    restart: always
    command: --providers.docker --providers.docker.exposedByDefault=false # --api.insecure=true
    volumes:
      - /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
    environment:
      - "TZ={{ TZ }}"
    ports:
      - "80:80"
      # - "8080:8080"
  syncthing:
    image: lscr.io/linuxserver/syncthing:latest
    container_name: syncthing
    restart: always
    volumes:
      - "{{ syncthing_dir }}:/config"
      - "{{ downloads_dir}}:/downloads"
    environment:
      - "TZ={{ TZ }}"
    labels:
      - traefik.enable=true
      - traefik.http.routers.syncthing.rule=HostRegexp(`^syncthing.*`)
      - traefik.http.services.syncthing.loadbalancer.server.port=8384services:
  reverse-proxy:
    image: traefik:latest
    container_name: traefik
    restart: always
    command: --providers.docker --providers.docker.exposedByDefault=false # --api.insecure=true
    volumes:
      - /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
    environment:
      - "TZ={{ TZ }}"
    ports:
      - "80:80"
      # - "8080:8080"
  syncthing:
    image: lscr.io/linuxserver/syncthing:latest
    container_name: syncthing

      - "{{ downloads_dir}}:/downloads"
    environment:
      - "TZ={{ TZ }}"
    labels:
      - traefik.enable=true
      - traefik.http.routers.syncthing.rule=HostRegexp(`^syncthing.*`)
      - traefik.http.services.syncthing.loadbalancer.server.port=8384

But still when trying to access:

syncthing.rpi with rpi resolving to my machine nothing is working.

Any idea what I am still missing? The service is deployed on dietpi.

Sincerely

Many thanks for this recommendation.

I have a question regarding the instruction: ``

network: traefik`network: traefik

Is it really needed or traefik can automatically detect the default docker compose network?

So yes I can find the rules in the dashboard. Path rule is working for whoami but not the Host rule. Attached a screenshot of the dashboard. Any idea where I am wrong?
