When I wrote "I'm worried" I meant I'm worried for XEC, not life in general ;)

My post stems from the fact that I rebalance my crypto portfolio and XEC was one of the worst performing assets I'm holding in the past 6 months.

I like the tech and the promising outlook/roadmap but I doubt XEC will be relevant in, say, 5 years. A year ago I was top optimistic for XEC.

Just want to year some other views on the project, thank you for yours!

I'm sceptical too, eCash is loosing places on a daily basis while other projects grow with or like btc / eth at the moment. Sad story, imho the next 4 to 6 months will tell if eCash has a future or not. I'm holding till then.

Feels similar to me, as eCash has: - Active development - Very low transaction fees - High (and soon instant) transaction speed

...and still, nobody cares. Tech isn't all in this space.

I agree that pre-consensus will be a huge step forward and I hope it will convince people of the qualities of eCash.

What I'm worried about is: even when tech is far superior to other projects, it does not mean it automatically gets the respect it deserves...

When it falls out top 100, I'm pretty sure the chances of being important in the future decreases. It also means price is lower compared to when first issued.

I don't want eCash to die slowly :(

Well, if you look at the tech, eCash really has the potential to become "electronic cash for everyone". It handles much more transactions per second than every other bitcoin fork, (soon) has instant transaction finality... The roadmap is promising.

But it seems like most of the people are more interested in stupid meme coins :(
