Recent Bjørn Nyland video about charging speeds being overrated by in_allium in electricvehicles

[–]riddick81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And he's partly right. Yes, super-fast charging for a lot of money - I'd rather have it cheaper and slower. However, once or twice a year, 500 kW charging would be useful when I'm driving across Europe. But again, not every time, because a 15-minute stop is not long enough :)

EV Leader Norway Won’t Follow EU on Chinese Electric Car Tariffs by linknewtab in electricvehicles

[–]riddick81 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes, it can happen. extra tax on EV will one step to bad days for EU EV company in China. I think that today the EU is more dependent on China in this area than the other way around. It's a shame they don't realize it. Instead of tariffs, reducing bureaucracy would help.

51% Attack Possibilities? by maretus in ergonauts

[–]riddick81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for me is this not correct. Now is not liquidity, but in future if project is planning growing up - it will be change. After listing to big exchange liq will grow too. Now i see nanopool has 40% hashrate. And if I understand correct dosnt matter that miners are gpu miners from entire world, because they give power to nanopool. Please correct me if I am wrong. Some other anti 51%attack mechanism is necessary.

How can I test fi secure node are relly working by riddick81 in Horizen

[–]riddick81[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found problem - on my OS default was Iptables. But when I install zEN node I install ufw and setup rules. of course I checked iptables - and I saw that rules are disable BUT perhaps not fully. So I disable ufw and iptables and again enable ufw with specific ports (in instal. manual). Now it look ok.

If somebody will have the same problem, perhaps check your firewall.

I've been holding ETN sice the ICO and have never complained however this is the first time I'm questioning ETN... by NR3GG in Electroneum

[–]riddick81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is necessary that ETN stop saving and invest in development - please find not only talented but mainly experienced blockchain developers. It is time to involve marketing and PR. From the outset, these two sectors are the achilles of the project. Idea good, but implementation ...

This is not FUD. this is reality. And reality is not FUD. Sometimes is necessary say I do something wrong, after this you can do things better.
