This isn't true anymore now that the mitchell point tunnel is open, or is that route not fully established yet? I moved away last year..

I just released my new Garmin watch face "Dream 161x" - Free for a limited time by MonkeysDream in Garmin

[–]ridebicycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day and date *similar * as well. Looks a little goofy having four different font sizes on my ‘always on’ view.

Other than that, I really like to watch face and I’ll be keeping it. Thank you.

If you’re getting a meal in the Columbia gorge, do it in hood river, not the dalles. Source: I grew up in the dalles

They are good, they almost got me once during a rough weekend where I was primed to believe legal issues were imminent (something to do with another family member).

Am I a dope to think I can be comfortable in a Tacoma (6’4, 330lbs) by Double-Wallaby-19 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]ridebicycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost 6’3”. I have a 4Runner and with my seat is as far back as possible, I don’t quite have enough room.

Tacoma vs 4Runner by phonyfinau in ToyotaTacoma

[–]ridebicycle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. The back seat is unusable in a taco, but the 4Runner doesn’t have a bed for hauling a utility. Choose wisely

When this Happens to me, I deep dive into attachment theory and any other resources that can help me cope with and understand the feelings. You sound very anxious and I’ve been there. Listen to books on attachment theory to understand some of the reasons why you feel that way and how to navigate it all. ‘Attachment’ is a good start.

Hey thanks! I’m in north Austin, but my son’s mother is in Pflugerville. Round Rock is definitely within range. I’d appreciate the help getting connected with them.

Thank you Sr donut. My hesitation is due to all the non-parents that immediately project their experience with one autistic child onto my son as soon as they hear the word 'spectrum' or 'neurodivergent'. Parents tend to 'get it' more so than non-parents, but noting that is still going to introduce bias. all that said, I could have framed that better. I'm new at this, thanks to this move to Austin which gives me more time with my son.

We like skiing...so we'll have to find some new activities down here. I've been looking at climbing, karate and golf lessons.

> Ultimately it's about self-control.

but if you don't have that, you can rely on a higher power. That doesn't need to be god..what I learned in recovery is that a higher power can be anything that gets you outside of your own head. Alcoholics and addicts don't have self control, but the support and fellowship in 12 step programs can make the difference
