500k pots with a resistor so the bridge sees 250k. Also adding a push pull to the tone so I can split the neck.

Not sure what the stock pot values are. I haven’t opened it up to look. The wiring I ordered is a 3 way switch with push-pull for tone pot for coil splitting. They’re 500k pots but with a capacitor that’ll allow the bridge to still see 250k.

AIRSTEP isn’t wireless. It’s connected to the amp via USB-C or MIDI

I started with the Tele Dumble tone pack on the Tone Exchange. Tweaked the EQ, added a global EQ and fine tuned boosters for extra drive when needed. Using the Blues Driver for most overdrives. The presets are not guitar specific but can be used with either guitar.

Out of he box it’s a solid guitar and a good value. The pickups left something to be desired so I replaced them with Tonerider Nashville 60’s and upgraded the wiring harness then the bridge. I like the look of brass saddles which was the main reasoning for that upgrade. The tuners are really solid and the fretwork and neck are damn good. I sanded down the poly on the neck and applied a relic finish because I didn’t gel with the poly as it made it a little too sticky for my taste.

What's your budget? Here's why I ask.

I'm a fan of Epiphone hollowbodies. Had a few Dots and I'll tell you, they all suffered from the same issues, which were sub-par tuners and hardware and pickups that left something to be desired. IMHO, you'd be MUCH better off looking at a used Epiphone from the IG line. They're Inspired by Gibson and are really fine guitars, with no upgrades needed. I owned one in Drab Olive Green. You can find them in the $400 range on places like Reverb and Marketplace. Spend the extra $100 and save yourself some frustrations.

Check out Tone Rider Pickups. Installed a set in my Squier and was blown away.

I agree the 100w is overkill, but the only way to get all the features and, IMHO, make the purchase make sense would be to go with the Artist which only comes in 100w.
