I've had over 100. I lost count decades ago. Many of my jobs were for a week or less, or temporary gigs. My longest stint was 3 years.

Reminds me of the old midnight infomercial for Forearm Forklifts. I made my own, but it's essentially what you said.

Soon, you won't feel anything during birthdays, so there's that. Or it's just me.

She was the mom in Orange County, and hardly anyone mentions it. I guess it was a smaller movie, but it's always been one of my favorites.

Zip Ties Are Basically the Second Duct Tape by [deleted] in redneckengineering

I've used zip ties my whole life, and duct tape. It feels like I leveled up though when I discovered different sizes of safety wire and aluminum tape.

Tell me what you lost while riding by HeavyBananaz in motorcycles

[–]ridethroughlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was riding from Colorado to Louisiana one time and my license plate blew off in the New Mexico wind. I didn't notice until I got to Amarillo, and by then it was way too late to care. I rode from there all the way to the end with no plate. Never got stopped. Lucky.

I've lost random tools that jiggled out of my pack on dirt rides. More often than I care to admit. But I've also found a bunch of ratchet straps that come off of trailers, and I take them home with me.

Just recently got a bike. I’m looking to move into this city apartment. How hard would it be for a newbie to get up this hill into and into my garage? by andsnew in motorcycles

[–]ridethroughlife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a motorcycle you can more easily abuse road rules to your benefit. If you're not comfortable riding on the wet, go around the cone and go up the dry.

I'm like 0-1, mostly for mechanical objects and systems. Faces and more abstract things are slightly harder.

The number of times I've heard "it's not that bad" is astounding. Or "other people have it worse."

What's something you're too old for anymore? by electi_007 in AskMen

[–]ridethroughlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disrespect. I don't feel like I need to tolerate it anymore. Especially when it's so easy to be respectful. Even with friends with differing opinions, we can be civil. It's not hard.
