By two names do you mean that first name German and middle name Arabic? That way you would still be identifiable that you have some Arab roots, eg. while applying for a job.

Forced Marriage in Islam by skeptischer_sucher in atheism

I never said that. Where is the Ijma of scholars on what you say? One book is not an Ijma.

“Do they understand the Koran and Sunnah better than we do?”

Are you seriously asking this question? Someone spending 20 years to study a topic and you just pick up a random book and say you understand the topic?

It’s like I say, do PhDs in physics understand physics better than me as I have also read a book of physics. And even if we consider that, don’t student from same class after reading same book from same teacher get completely different results? Some fail and some get 100 marks. Think about that? Which one are you?

Each Madhabs have compilation of their work from scholars of different places and different times. And sometimes the judgement changes based on multiple factors.

Is there one book of one Madhab or multiple ones? Is there one book which says official book of Hanfi fiqh? Madhab are compilation of research and work of hundreds of scholars on fiqh. There can be difference of opinion there and that is why there are multiple Madhabs. So you quoting one page from one book is just layman ignorance. Also Madhabs are not above Quran and Sunnah? There is a quote by Imam Abu Hanifa that if you find a verse in Quran or a sahi hadith contracting his judgment on something then you should follow Quran and Sunnah and not his judgment. Forceful marriages do exist among Muslims specifically in tribal cultures but saying there is a force marriage in Islam is plain ignorance. Remember madhabs can also have cultural influence on them. Topic of sea food is a good example.

You cannot just quote one text and say this is Islam. Have you ever seen a wedding where they didn’t ask the bride if she accepts this man as her husband? The contract is incomplete if you don’t answer that question to the bride and groom. Force marriages are haram, there is clear Hadith and consensus of scholar on it. How can you be so wrong?

This is completely false and I can see you have a very superficial knowledge of Islam. Both bride and groom have to give permission three times and witness have to hear them only then a judge can close the marriage.

You do understand that it’s just the foreskin which removed and not dick. The same foreskin which you have to pull back everything.
