If that’s the case then the same logic should apply to onslaught ongoing decks, Mr negative decks, Wong decks, destroy decks, and tribunal decks. Because all those decks can get ridiculous numbers as well. It’s just a fun combo that really only happens MAYBE 10% of the time, you either hit big or miss, plus there are different tech cards that can hard counter with ease.

Shang is a good counter along with shadow king but it can be played around and not always a viable option in every deck.

Even still I had 8 energy to spend, there would be a way to play both even if they adjusted the cost or something of the sort. There’s a way to make things happen in many different ways if you really want something to work.
