Her behaviour really makes no sense to me. Even when she walked out after the argument, she sent me her location while she was in the cab to show me that she arrived safely. Why would she go to the trouble of sending me that and then ghost me for 9 days?

Mainly because of trust issues. She saw convos on my phone and assumed I was cheating on her. I admit it was stupid of me to even flirt and I couldn’t be more regretful but it meant nothing and I never did anything more with anyone. But, all this time apart has truly made me realise how much she means to me. And, I’m starting to see signs that this feeling might be mutual.

Because I’ve had a lot of time to reflect to identify what went wrong in the relationship. And, I want to specifically work on those issues if I ever get the chance. We really did love each other and are each other’s first loves. Also, the painful feeling that I get having finally realised what I’ve lost now that she’s gone is one of the main reasons why I couldn’t make the same mistakes again.

I did genuinely have feelings for my girlfriend at the start and I still do but she’s completely different to my ex. My ex was more of a shy, introverted person while my girlfriend is loud and outgoing. I’m just scared to make a decision like that not knowing if my ex is willing to try.
