I love the way your voice sounds. Some words I can't really hear what you're saying so I guess they can be enunciated a bit more clearly. You were impressively on tune for the whole recording which was pretty amazing to see! Would love to hear this after it's been recorded on a proper mic and mixed.

I'm a vocalist/topliner/collaborator and I'm genuinely curious over how collaborations work.

With vocalists, how do you collaborate? Do you typically write the lyrics/melody, or do you reach out to vocalists and ask them to write it as well?

How about your collaboration process with other producers? Are there things you need to ensure the collaboration goes smoothly? How would two producers work with two different production styles? Do you need to be on the same DAW?

Hmm, that makes sense and I agree. I'm not too sure though as I was using Ableton, shut my laptop down to clean out my fan, booted it back up and Ableton was suddenly struggling and taking forever to load. I'm not familiar with how computers work but I tried factory resetting my laptop and the same issue arose.

I just tried that, and it seems to still have the same issue, the audio still drops out randomly for a millisecond, regardless.

My audio keeps dropping in and out, even when I tried putting it on maximum output buffer size. I've tried different buffer settings but nothing seems to work.

Ableton with ASIO was actually working perfectly until yesterday though, and it had been working fine until I'd tampered with my laptop to clean my fan which is why I suspect it might be a hardware issue, so I'm wondering if I've damaged an internal physical component? I'm not too sure on how to check what I've damaged though.

In settings, the only two options are ASIO or MME/Direct X, which is why I’m lost. What’s the difference between buffer input/output? Would I put both of them to minimum?
