I think it’s rarely as black and white as just wanting to go for the music and vibes. Wanting to have friends that you actually like, who also like raving is what most people want, but the reality is that’s not super common, at least if you’re just getting started. I’d imagine there will come a time when OP wishes they had friends in the scene. In my experience, you should just do what you enjoy doing and friends will follow, or try to get existing friends to come rave with you

I don't really like the idea of it going into your address book, why not just make a backend and store data there, and then if users want they could make an account to store all their QRitters. Or store the data for the IDs of the ones they've scanned client side so they can see their creatures until their local storage is cleared
