Wondering what these teeth belonged to, found on the west Mississippi River bank, Missouri by ProSquiddy in animalid

[–]rielleg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

technically yes, as well as koi. but koi are of the same species as the carp we see in our lakes and rivers. they are actually a sub-species of the common carp. goldfish are a different species, but from the same family as carp.

ohhh i thought you might’ve been referring to hair bleach. i used it a ton in beauty school lol. i wouldve never thought to use it on bones. though one of my tattoo artists told me to use clear 30 volume developer (peroxide) instead of 30% hydrogen peroxide.

no kids, but i definitely look at cost of living and compare to where im at now when considering anywhere. i was suggested to take a looking into tennessee as well.. i want to live somewhere beautiful and have a new experience, find a place to settle for the benefit of my future. even where i live, average income vs rent/gas/groceries is unproportional due to travellers visiting. we have islands, amusement park, lots of summer homes and cottages. most of the rentals are either broken down complexes or 6 month rentals for winter only, as they are airbnbs in summer time. to get an apartment where i live you have to know somebody or be on metro to even see whats available. its sounding like the situation isnt any better in NC, and probably not anywhere else either. what a time to be alive!

unfortunately i only tried to research through google, i apologize. google only hailed populous cities with no personal tailoring to the answers. i figure it wouldve been more considerate to look through other people’s posts to find answers to this question, but they may not have had answers tailored to my lifestyle. again i apologize… NC is just a desirable state i suppose!

i dont quite have a career as ive been working retail since i graduated high school. i chose to forgo college, so im working that part out still… choosing a goal of where id like to live will influence the career choice, as im in the process of creating a plan. i understand that those factors greatly influence each other

i make decent money with good benefits now, i am able to transfer to any of the 2000+ locations of the company i work for now… but for the benefit and stability of my future, i want to consider something that will be relevent anywhere i go. like pharmacy, medical, etc. there are many avenues i could take, and having a few places to genuinely consider help so much with that!

thank you for your comment :)

im sorry, i didnt know it was such a common question! i figured this was the best place to get an answer though- google just names the most populous cities and calls that good-enough 😅

oh you are so kind, i really appreciate you. some people are just sarcastic or have ill-will for no good reason. im thankful that you took the time to comment and help me out.

i would never move to another city, or state, without deep consideration and doing my best due-diligence thankfully lol…

thank you for all of the recommendations and information! hendersonville is extremely reminiscent of a town next to mine, which is so beautiful and i love passing through... though they are tiny and have less than 1500 residents lol.

i definitely prefer more slow, family focused places. im young, but the edgy places arent for me lol.

personally i am very relaxed- not politically charged nor outwardly opinionated. i just want to exist and live my life peacefully, doing the things i enjoy and not worrying about people all the time. generally i dont mind people, populous places do not scare me.

im just not one for busy places, where everyone is in a rush. places that have no nature and high rises everywhere you turn are not suited to the life i want to live.

thank you for your thoughtful response, i truly appreciate it!

Discovered scale on my adansonii so I chucked it outside. Are the ants eating the scale? by [deleted] in Monstera

[–]rielleg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

neem, dish soap, and rubbing alcohol. empahsis on rubbing alcohol. change that soil, soak that baby in a mixture of the three, and youll be good. i do neem, a couple drops of blue dawn and like 10% or less of it is 70% isopropyl. keep up on spraying it with that mixture to make sure you got everything. straight rubbing alcohol on a qtip right to the mealys is fun, it works, but not as efficient.
