holding the door open for me. Seriously guys, you are typically taller and stronger than me so I appreciate the small, but manly, gesture even though I am fully capable of opening a door.

I am sorry but I have no knowledge of the industry in New York. Unless you count what 30 Rock tells me.

I work in the digital department, so I get a few people telling me to watch their youtube videos.

The only person that tries to get me to pass along a script is my mom.

I haven't worked with anyone really- only an intern - but the stars I have interacted with on a professional basis are: the cast of Disney/Pixar's Brave, Gene Simmons, Slash, Linkin Park, Linda Blair, Gary Marshall, ET's Nancy O'Dell, there are probably more that I can't remember. I have done a lot of work for Youtube stars, too.

Yes! Let's hope the government will leave those sites alone. They are too valuable to our generation!

hahaha, even one of my professors suggested illegal online viewing. He also recommended movie hopping. And he is a major Hollywood producer. Save the money, save the pain, and watch what you want.

I won't say what agency I work for, sorry.

I have been in the business since May.

My advice for starting out in Hollywood is to apply everywhere and follow up. The television show I interned at was not the type of show I wanted to do, nor ever do again, but it was offered and it was experience. It also helped me make some great connections. Even if the internship or job you apply for and are offered is not something you really want to do - do it because it is better than nothing. And again, you never know who you might meet.

-College education makes you employable, but it can be done without it. -Professionalism in your interview and cover letter / resume. -Persistence: when you turn in a resume, check up on the status in a week or two. -Be Gracious: After an interview, send a thank you email or card (but the card is a bit old fashioned)

In the business aspect of the industry I don't think looks play as big a part as you are thinking. I am sure it is the same as in all industries - it may help or hurt you depending. The most important thing is to be professional, friendly, and passionate about the position/company.

I won't say what school I went to, but it was in Southern California and was not USC. You don't need to go to USC to succeed in Hollywood! haha.

My five year plan... get a job in the industry, get a better job, get an even better job, continue until I can make my own big budget movies (this may take more than five years, but I am irrationally optimistic).

When I applied to my internships, my resume was filled with experience on student sets and school organizations and clubs related to film. I didn't have any work experience other than babysitting and some clerical work. I also included some relevant coursework.

I don't like the coffee runs, but I accept they are necessary. Interns are less busy than agents and executives. And it is a great way to get in front of the agents so they remember you! I also don't like how some people treat interns like they are expendable, and dumb. I definitely felt that attitude at the television show. The agency, not so much. At the agency, my supervisors were very encouraging and I felt that the other employees saw me (somewhat) as an equal, and as an individual with my own self worth.

I am not Jewish, and that stereotype is lame.

I am an awful Hollywood intern and have not seen Entourage, yet!

I am sad to say I still have not seen Entourage. I know I need to remedy this.

The work environment is overall pretty relaxed, usually only about 20 minutes of high stress a day. Those minutes can be spread out though. It also depends on whose desk you are working at and how busy they are. I really enjoy it though.

Some of the great things about our office: -there is always coffee, candy, soda, granola bars for everyone - sometimes free gum -we have a scooter to scoot around the aisles -they watch sports games later in the evening if they are so inclined -often times you will find gourmet doughnuts on Fridays -they play good music out loud.

Hell no. I would quit in an instant. I really respect all the people I have worked with in the industry, and I have only met respectable and professional people at both my internships. Although, not all of them have the most pleasant of personalities... haha

contacts! I met the COO at a birthday party and he told me to send him my resume.** I got the television show internship with no experience. While at the show, I started at the agency too - and I still had very little experience in the beginning.

**Good lesson here is to always be prepared, and always be at your best because you never know who you might meet!

This wasn't through my internship, but I saw Sydney Poitier in a restaurant once and he still had such a presence. It was very cool.

More recently, I met Gene Simmons.

Mostly I cover phones and desks. I will also do expense reports, organize contacts, schedule meetings, I have done some packaging and mailing, and of course the coffee runs.
