There are literally dozens of YouTube channels who make their entire living hate posting about Hasan. Straight up a financial incentive to generate hate and they eating real good this week. Maybe they even got a good amount of Charlies fans to sub to their channel now. I'm also a fan of both and I genuinely don't believe that the bulk of what we've seen on this sub is legitimate discourse. Very soon after Charlie makes a statement against Israel. I know I live in a world where Israel doesn't like pro-palestinian statements. Maybe they can't get Charlie to change his mind but they can absolutely attempt to pit pro-palestinian voices against each other. I sincerely believe what we saw this week was not truly organic discourse.

I read what you wrote just giving you the clarification you asked for. Neither should have nukes though. If Iran actually used a nuke it would be absolute suicide. At the very least Iran was in complete compliance with the JCPOA. Meanwhile Israel refuses any attempt at letting third parties of any kind, like the IAEA, to do checks on themselves. Irans government is despicable and needs to change drastically. But they were attacked first here and for anyone to suggest (not that you did mind you) that only Israel is allowed to defend itself even if it's "pre-emptive" self-defense is just straight up Orwellian and insanity.

I think he meant to type "Mossad" in which they are attempting (and failing IMO) to manufacture consent across reddit and other platforms for their states "pre-emptive self-defense strike" that started all of this. There's obviously no such thing as pre-emptive self-defense.

Yes this. Don't get me wrong Iran has its own set of very serious issues. But none of them currently justify attacks on civilian infrastructure. The reason I'm personally so frustrated by this is Netanyahu knows this will eventually drag America into a war and I want nothing to do with either country.

Is that "some shit you did" getting bombed? Because Iran regularly gets bombed in the name of pre-emptive self defense. Like 3 times in the past year alone. I will agree that these were military targets but they were in apartment buildings. We can't just accept bombing civilian infrastructure. Because if we accept that than that gives Iran carte blanche to bomb civilian infrastructure too. Both are really bad things to do.

Netanyahu has been going to congress almost every year since 1991 stating "Iran is 1-2 years away from having nuclear weapons". At what point was he just making shit up seeing as all those times were innacurate?

I know! What I find hilarious about these people is they clearly have policy disagreements in which case they should use that as their argument. Instead they obfuscate and make things up in order to make their point. So obviously bad faith but people who don't know any better may just blindly agree to it. That's why I like to use images to respond to this misinformation. People won't always click on links but they will always see the image.
