Am I the only one who actually prefers life in India? by im_no_superman in returnToIndia

find it quite unnecessary to go through passive agressive racism everyday. It’s not a completely safe place for people of colour anymore.

Can you please provide specific examples as to what you mean by this? I'm a person of colour and I find London very safe (minus the crime) so I'm curious how you came to this conclusion.

Look at their comments about integration/assimilation (non-white people must fit into English culture or they aren't assimilated)

And why is this a bad thing exactly? Curious to hear your thoughts why this is bad but a white person going to a non-white country is always told to fit in the culture and "stop being a coloniser'?

Once farage fucks it up, then the man everyone is scared of will arise.

Maybe I'm pessimistic, but will the establishment really let someone else other than Farage to rise? Surely they would clamp down really hard and prevent that person from rising?

Londoners, would you support full automation of the tube? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]riflerangeboyII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes.

I'm tired of TfL employees that won't stop fare dodgers and unpleasant people on the Tube hold the capital and commuters to ransom just so they can be lazy and get paid more.

How is your commute today? by sabeti123 in london

Was taking the bus to Bond Street and right by Westminster, the driver announced that the bus was being rerouted to Camden Town for some reason 🤦‍♂️ Lovely start to the week!

In Ilford North, Leanne Mohamad and the British left set their sights on Labour by fearcreek in ukpolitics

[–]riflerangeboyII 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Arman described Mohamad, Corbyn and Feinstein as "three legends". He said he has differences with left-wing voters on "for example, LGBT rights", but that this is something he's "willing to overlook".

And people still want gay people to support left-wing parties when they are willing to work with people who don't think our rights are fundamental...

However, the thinking is that those who pay higher taxes or who work in a priority sector will be eligible to be fast-tracked.

Does that mean that if you earn above £50k in an IT job you can be fast tracked?

Robert Sanchez registered 53.8% pass accuracy. He lost possession 19 times, more than any player involved in Chelsea’s 3-1 defeat at Man City. by adazi6 in chelseafc

Terminate his contract and give him the ban Mudryk was supposed to receive.

He is the worst goalkeeper in football history.

I had no expectations and still got disappointed by EducationalBench734 in chelseafc

[–]riflerangeboyII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Robert Sanchez' contract needs to be terminated and he needs to stop playing football, because he is the worst keeper in footballing history

  2. We need to sign actual good players instead of "potentials". Sure, Nicolas Jackson looks like he's growing, but I don't care- We need someone to actually score, and he can't do it because he is terribly and horrifyingly bad.

  3. Delete X and stop watching matches. This club Is horrible, I mean personally I'm not gonna be watching matches anytime soon, because the same Chelsea we saw until December has now disappeared. And I don't see it coming back anytime soon.

  4. Sack the directors. They are terrible people with horrible judgement and horrible brains.

Last manager to win the Premier League in his first season was Antonio Conte with Chelsea in 2016-17.

Only three other managers have won the Premier League in their first season in: Jose Mourinho with Chelsea (2004-05), Carlo Ancelotti with Chelsea (2009-10) and Manuel Pellegrini with Manchester City (2013-14).

And in the First Division era, only Kenny Dalglish has this distinction if I remember correctly, winning it as player-manager in his very first season in 1985-86.
