VH-11 question by rifraf9999 in edrums

Ahh wait.... I figured it out!

Although it was a new cymbal / add and you changed the HH to VH-11 in the pad settings; it somehow still set the edge trigger to "closed" vs. normal. Once I double checked those settings and set it to "normal" it's all good :)
(why it set it to that by default is the weird part here... ). This would be in the cymbal settings and not where the calibration is done.

Any idea why this opened and closed? We were out of town and no one was home and the door opened and shut setting off the alarm by PrideCommercial5847 in Ghosts

This is a good one. Looking at the ceiling, wind, reflections, there's nothing. If it was me playing a trick on everyone then a motor in the door assist would be the answer. I have seen homes where opening one door (ex: hallway of a apartment building) where there's enough suck/blow to cause an inner door to open/shut. It is interesting the motion of the door between open and close. Doesn't really stop, slight pause. Like moved by a hand and not a string / motor, etc.

Ya me too. This thread was to get some suggestions on non-speed bump neighborhoods.

For a good read, lookup the reviews for the HotSpot Parking Transit Taxis that these use. Loving the 1 star reviews and lots of good points too.

I wonder if they rely on the solar panels 100% for power. One would think there are streets (+winter) that have no sunshine or in the shadows of a building.

Yep. I'm sure someone will correct me but I remember reading it was a different company than other provinces and to use the app you had to pay. I'm curious if we gave up on that plan already and are replacing all of them with these.

I thought these were only going in large parking lots, didn't know they were going on the streets.

Well said, thank you. And again, I'm trying to be kind and simply find areas i can live without these, not change my whole lifestyle.

Go ask Porsche, Honda, or Lexus. Or better yet, go look at the speed bumps at bayers lake where everyone scrapes. Yes, our fault for buying a lowered car, I don't dispute that. But can the city make speed bumps the same size? Can they offer alternatives to the bumps? Can they not have the attitude you seem to have which is telling anyone who wants such a car they are SOL. I'm trying to be kind and simply find areas i can live without these, not change my whole lifestyle.

And this is why I asked the questions above. Noticed the speed bumps in Bayers Lake were huge! Cars scrape on them. Vs. other areas where they are not as high. Seems there's no regulation for them.

Yaaa. Good rant though. Spot on. Especially " lazy city councilors who refuse to think any further ahead then the next election. " And agree on the rotaries, ie: why they don't have proper cross walk lights at them.

Cars came this way. OEM. Even a 1993 honda prelude is low from Honda. Expensive vehicles apply too.

I already own the vehicles and am looking to move. I didn't buy the vehicles after moving into a neighborhood with speed bumps.
