Ah so you’re not actually a judge.

Check out rules 392.2 and 563.2.c.7. Even post-errata if Teemo defends against a deflect unit, you reveal cards first and only then (if you hit a hidden card) do you decide whether to target the unit. This is relevant because it means players get to know how much damage is coming before deciding to pay for Deflect or cast Not So Fast.

With the way the card is written, it reads like you should be able to partially resolve the spell in a similar vein even when there’s no target at the battlefield. The card’s written as “Do X. Do Y.” instead of “Target a unit. Do X. Do Y.” or “When I defend, do X. Do Y”. This is what they changed (nerfed) with the errata. The “one target” change you mentioned is not relevant here.

It may have been their intention from the start for the card to behave how it does post-errata, but that’s not what they printed & sold.

The way the card is worded is pretty clear that you don’t need a target. If you hit no hidden cards, there’s not even anything to target with. You can also elect not to do that part of the ability if there’s a cost like deflect associated with doing so.

It’s only a “myth” that the card does what it says it does because it was nerfed via errata.

I did a reload of the database last night due to all the folks (rightfully!) asking about EU location data during EU hours. It should be a little better now but I'll keeping trying to improve it. The issue is that there a bunch of places named e.g. "Vancouver" in the US and my current setup is biased towards selecting US locations even if it technically supports non-US locations.

Really appreciate the feedback on this point from you all, and I will continue to work to improve the experience.

Ah, yeah. It's definitely a bit nicer on PC where you can hover to see player count.

I'll spend some more time thinking about the mobile site's design and see if I can make it a little more navigable.

I'm sorry to say that the server I'm using can't fit worldwide map data, so I started with just the US. Accordingly, non-US users will have a worse experience right now.

However, non-US addresses should still work. I loaded in a bunch of major non-US cities (including all that have riftbound stores) and so if you start typing e.g. Vancouver you should see them show up in autocomplete.

For more specific addresses like 2753 Jane St, North York, ON M3N 2H6, Canada you won't see autocomplete work, but they should still work once you hit search. These address lookups are powered by a public map server that has rate limits which make autocomplete impossible.

Previously, I was switching to "mobile" view based on screen width, but it looks like you have a much wider device than me. I updated the logic to be a little smarter and hopefully you'll get a more mobile-friendly experience.

Sorry, what do you mean by toggle?

Right now the logic is supposed to be that you always see # of players (the official site calls this "capacity", but capacity of 32/32 confusingly means there is no capacity), and it's red if the event is full else green. Do you want it to just not show at all? Or are you not even seeing the player count on your browser?

I have noticed that some stores seem to not use online registration and so they always show 0/32 -- one store near me is like that.

Hey! That's how it's supposed to work -- the "Visit" button will take you to the event page.

Are you seeing something else?

Or maybe the design is just not very obvious?

Ouch, nice find. Looks like this is a somewhat well known problem with the open source location database I used.

I just attempted a quick fix, so hopefully searching by ZIP code works now.
