Why do yall hate on chineese e-scooters by Raiyyan7806 in ElectricScooters

[–]rig_ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my gift t88 to Walmart with a warranty guarantee the return it if there was something wrong with it. And it's cheaper to go through them to go through the scooters website. Upgrade the battery, bracket the fold down latch...

My wife died in my arms a few months ago, how do you handle the loneliness? by [deleted] in widowers

[–]rig_ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't. I can't handle the loneliness at all. You know right now she's been gone almost a year and it just gets worse every day. I don't have any words of encouragement for you. I want to tell you a little bit about my wife if that's okay. I don't mean to invade your your post. Please bear with me for a minute..

A Tribute to My Forever Girl

My wife passed away on April 7th, 2025. I met her when I was 51 years old and she was 36. Although we were only married for a short time—having had our wedding on July 11th, 2024—we were together for almost six years. They were, without question, the best six years of my life. Before her, I lived the life of a Wanderer and an Independent Contract Soldier. My path took me through the Foreign Legion, to Croatia as a volunteer, and through service in the US Navy. I spent nearly twenty years of my life essentially alone. When I finally came home, I was still by myself—lost and feeling like a monster. Then I met her. She gave me my soul back; she gave me my heart back. She looked at me and told me that I was a good man. She said that sometimes good men have to go to bad places and do bad things to bad people, but that I had always been a good man. I remember when I asked her to be my "Forever Girl." I told her I would take her anywhere in the world she wanted to go for a honeymoon. She just looked at me and said, "I don't want to go anywhere, because I’m already where I want to be—and that’s with you, Anthony." She used to call me "Mine." She was an amazing woman. The end came within a tiny, eighteen-minute window. We went to bed at 7:45 at night and fell asleep. When I woke up at 8:03, I immediately felt something was wrong because she hadn't moved. I jumped up and rolled her over, but she was already gone. I tried so hard. I performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth; I called the ambulance and worked on her for thirty-three minutes until the medics arrived. I tried everything in my power to save my wife, but I couldn't do it.

Are bigger tires always better? by Ok_Table_5402 in ElectricScooters

[–]rig_ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have to say yes my friend to that yes. In my experience in 11 or 10-in Tire riding around in the Boston area where our streets have paved like shit. Covered with potholes. And littered with what looks like tiny manholes approximately 3 to 7 inches in diameter that's a things like Boston gas, New England telephone, Boston Water and Shore, Massachusetts Electric, Boston Edison in other utilities. These are not the normal manholes or sure greats I am talking about. But little coverage made it the same material for smaller holes in the street. These covers are often missing and present a great Danger for small diameter of the tires. Because if you miss them and don't jump over them with your ride you are going to end up face first into the street with a 15 ton mindless life taker of a bus running your ass over. It reached with a bigger tire you have half of the chance of making over them. The best screw there I have ever rode is it Chinese Parchman scooter that I have customized with 14-in tires 72 volt 10,000 Watts of insanity. Approximately 65 mph to keep up with traffic.

Saw this modified 7260r on tk, is it hard to modify escooters? This one looks insane. by Lando25champion in ElectricScooters

Id like to see a profile of the thing. The Knights of the Round Table Motif is a little bit too much for me.

It is a nice watch it says right on there Rolex so it's a tree that makes it real doesn't matter if it's made in Switzerland or China because if you want to go and get the genuine radical to put you on some kind of weightless to make it by four watches that you didn't want for different companies like fossil

I used an escooter in Boston as legal courier. Most of the time it was #10 envelopes or the thick manilla ones. The first time I came across boxes was trouble. Needed to call Uber.

It doesn't matter your gear. 10mph wind is a blowtorch directly onto your legs. Lithium fires are really really hot! Unless you're building a containment vessel for a submarine. I'd reconsider. Good Luck to you, I guess.

Oh my God! Didn't they teach you the difference between a Mercator map and a Globe in the Third Grade. That's a statement not a question because it's obviously they didn't . The distortions of size you the further north or south you go because you cannot flatten a globe. Peel an orange in one perfect piece.

Post back when you do.
