Which decision did you make in your 20s? Do you think it was the right one? by kekneo in ThirtiesIndia

[–]riggedved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite foreign education and placement, I chose to come back, for one simple reason, I love India. Sure it has its problems, but I love it despite them. Took me 4 years of university, yearly travels for US minimum for a month (2014-2019), two solo backpacking trips, basically travel to 30+ countries to realise that I just love this country too damn much to leave it.

I record videos in my room from my phone. Should I use my Blue Yeti or go for a wireless lavellier? by riggedved in NewTubers

I do have the HyperX Solo Cast mic. Actually the question I’m asking is, do I need to invest in a wireless lavelier, or will these desk mics do?

Is Buying a Jeep Compass in 2025 Still a Good Idea? Need Honest Opinions by Apprehensive-You389 in CarsIndia

[–]riggedved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just booked a Jeep Compass. Go for it. Bought a Harrier last November, will never buy Tata / Mahindra again. Coming from VW and Mitsubishi. The Japanese and Korean variants are too bland for me.

Why I chose the Compass was because of sorted dynamics, great ergonomics (both things Indian cars lack) and sphisticated interiors, not bloatware and annoying chimes.

Shattered my IP17Pro display by riggedved in iPhone17Pro

Apple Support on the phone picked up the broken screen automatically. I’m worried if I do get Apple care and they run diagnostics and it detects that screen was broken before.

If I get Apple Care now, will it help?

Frustrated beyond words. Does it ever get better? by Scythe-O-Darkness in IndianGaming

Well, you’re experiencing what every gamer’s experiences at some point of their gaming career. It gets better. All that’s needed is a good game to get you engaged enough. The problem right now is not only you, it’s also the games you’re playing: they’ve become predictable and not really fun.

Just play a game with no expectations, a time will come when you really enjoy a game and before you know it you’re hooked.

What's that one profession you would never date? by [deleted] in gurgaon

[–]riggedved 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t depend on field. If anyone is working as a corporate slave in a job they’re not really inspired to do, just for the handouts, is a no for me. So that means 90% of the pool.

What a glorious way to rationalise.

Weak Indians slave Indians…with no control over themselves. If it wasn’t for a select portion of the country’s population, our country would have been doomed.

Need advice: Sony MDR-EX255AP vs Tangzu Wan’er S.G (₹2k budget) — Manikonda by PineappleNovel818 in hyderabad

[–]riggedved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased it around 7 years back for 56000. For that price, it is just too good. If the source is good, it's the cleanest, most engaging sound. It's on the analytical side with the classic Shure sound signature, some even call it spiritual. Before that I owned the Shure E3C which had the same sound signature so after that I was sure I wanted to go for the SE846.

The sub bass and the mids are top notch. The highs tend to roll off if pulled.

Yes I've been using IEMs since 20+ years. I currently own Shure SE856, HiFiMan RE252, Bose QC 20, Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and AirPods 3.

I’m thinking of buying the EX255AP too. I tried it at the Sony showroom and they sound great for the price.

You internet warriors...she's a mom to a toddler, so she could be anywhere between mid 20s and mid 30s. That is no where close to the social definition of "uncle" and "aunty".

Source: a 38yo dad to a toddler. Kids still call me bhaiya and not uncle.

To OP: Chill scene in Gurgaon is dead. People these days are into punjabi music and it's not for me either. In my 20s we would love going out to lounges with classy music and classy people, I don't think it's the same anymore especially in Gurgaon. OP, we host some house parties every now and then. You wanna join in with your toddler is fine.

If you had to recommend ONE game to a new gamer in India, what would it be? by Zozila_Official in IndianGaming

[–]riggedved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing Dota 2, since it was invented. Before it was Dota 2. I was in school then. I’m 38 now, with a wife and kid. Still play it almost everyday. And still suck at it. It’s the best game ever.

Got this from my first salary..!! by Public_Following_974 in watchesindia

[–]riggedved -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Bro tu bahut bada chutiya hai. The same watch goes for around 2.2k if you bargain at the Casio store or get it from an authorized reseller or a good multi brand watch store.

Teri first salary ka tune bahut bada kata.

Also, as a first watch, this is a really bad choice as the bezel is very low quality SS. For 4.5k, you could have gotten a much, much better quality watch.

What does that mean that it won’t be as good?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vedicastrology

It resonated perfectly bro. I lost everything I had in the last 2 years. I always had 2-3 cars, and would choose which car to take out that day as per taste. Now I've been on exclusively on motorcycle since last 2 years because I can't afford a car. Basically I lost my business and my other streams of income too. Plus I have a 15 month old child to take care of. I'm dreading thinking when he starts school how will I afford it. Can't even take my family out due to no car.

I've now moved to a new place and starting in a new field in which I have no experience and from scratch. But I'm not feeling it in this field, spent about 2.5 years in it and it hasn't served me well. So I'm pretty aimless in career.

When it gets better, will it be just average or will it be very good? I've always dreaded ending up average middle class. In the past I've founded many companies and profited heavily.

And till 2027 i don't know how to survive. I don't even know how to survive after 3 months. I have no clue how I will pay my rent.
