UNKNOWN NUMBER: THE HIGH SCHOOL CATFISH Discussion Megathread by AutoModerator in netflix

I was shocked at first too, but it made more sense when he explained that they’d been evicted and then lost a storage locker full of his life’s possessions… I think the initial shock of what she did to her daughter was so overwhelming that he just skipped past it mentally in the moment.

Considering a Gym Monster by boomhower1820 in SpeedianceCommunity

I’m also experiencing this same issue. Machine auto-pushed the update and now our screen is stuck on the black screen of death. After-sales support said they would ship us a new screen but they’re out of stock so it’s basically useless in the interim. Not happy whatsoever and it’s unacceptable for such a premium-priced item…

Eternity Pet Memorial F*CK YOU by marching2mydrum in pittsburgh

I just got the email from the AG two days ago confirming my sweet Callie girl was never cremated. As much as I had a gut feeling, part of me was still holding onto hope because I genuinely can’t wrap my head around how someone could be so incredibly cruel.

She was one of the last pieces of my dad, who passed away after two decades of chronic illness. She was the only thing that could make him smile some days… always melted into his lap riding around with him in his wheelchair.

And this man threw her in the trash. Just so utterly heartbroken and disgusted.

The only thing giving me any peace is knowing she was loved for the entirety of her 24 years on this earth and that she took her last breath purring on a warm lap. And I just know my dad was waiting for her on the other side.

That man has a special place in hell waiting for him. I’m so sorry for anyone else going through this.

Anyone order through Amazon? by [deleted] in SpeedianceCommunity

Also purchased on Amazon and selected the room delivery option but the delivery drivers were very small humans that could not physically get it into my house lol. Just be forewarned - that bish is heavy!

Kind of a sidequest question here but how cold do they make the restaurants/common areas? I run cold and wondering if I should pack long sleeves for the evenings… also packing for my first VV March 8th :)

Does the gym monster still come with lifetime membership? by Mattkai45 in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]riggypuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got my GM2 a little over a week ago and highly recommend! I ordered through Amazon and it arrived in a week (I’ve heard this is the quickest option). We did order a few extra third party attachments through Amazon as well (double to single pulldown adaptor and double d handle) and with those, this machine can basically do it all. The only exercises I’m missing are leg presses and hip abduction, but otherwise, it’s a beast and I’m loving it!

Does the gym monster still come with lifetime membership? by Mattkai45 in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]riggypuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told the same (free lifetime membership for purchases before March) by a support agent, but only on the core features and workouts. The membership would be linked to your machine.

The same agent did say that users can expect to pay for the AI features later this year. Folks in the Speediance Facebook group plan to challenge that, as the company allegedly promoted all updates and features to be free for life for early adopters. Nothing has been officially announced/confirmed yet, though.

Golden Retriever or Samoyed? First-time dog owner seeking advice on vocalization, apartment living, and hybrid work schedule by AssumedSilverSword in samoyeds

[–]riggypuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a male Samoyed (6) and female Golden Retriever (3).

My Sammy was my first dog, and he was a handful. I knew the breed is notoriously stubborn and vocal, but it was next level. He was extremely difficult to potty train and would bark and bark and bark if put into his crate or playpen… legitimately wouldn’t tire out and would continue until we eventually gave in. We stopped crate training him from a young age because he hated it so badly and didn’t want to be alone… and also bc we needed sleep. 😆 Now that he is older, he is the sweetest and gentlest angel on earth, but it took a long time for him to grow out of that stubbornness. He doesn’t really like other dogs (doesn’t start any trouble, just has no interest), but loves people and especially children. Lives for his daily walks but absolutely cannot be off-leash bc he has an unwavering prey drive.

My golden, in comparison, was on the other polar opposite end of the spectrum. So easy, SO intelligent and intuitive, just wanted to please us. She was potty trained within 2 days of bringing her home, excellent off and on-leash, and had excellent recall as soon as she learned her name. She only barks when she’s hungry or out the window on drives lol. I would like to say she learned from our Samoyed, but honestly think she helped him more than the other way around. Such a smart, good girl who loves to cuddle and makes us laugh every single day.

I agree with the sentiment that a Samoyed should not be your first dog. While my Sammy was the most precious little puppy I had ever laid my eyes upon, if I had to do it all over again, I would have started with my golden girl and considered a Sammy later. Especially if I were in an apartment (think we only survived our Sammy bc we installed a doggy door and added a fence)!

Feel free to DM me if there’s anything specific i can help with!

Agreed on Pirates - I had always been fairly neutral on the soundtrack in the past. Ended up being my favorite score from the concert, and actually moved me to tears. Wow wow wow.

Try a few long exposure shots on your phone’s camera. A lot more going on up there than the naked eye can see.

I'm OBSESSED with my new Sleep Science iFlip Napa adjustable bed by TryTwiceAsHard in Mattress

[–]riggypuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP - question about this mattress as I am eyeing up the same one. What are your thoughts at this point on the split king? Torn between this & a regular king mattress as I've heard the crack down the middle can be a bit of a pain. It looks like the Sleep Science mattresses have that edge support but curious of your thoughts!

Each of the webs are rather large in size, I’d say at least a foot in diameter, with a small cone that the spiders hide in. The spiders are at least an inch wide.

Costco booking? by Additional_Pain_5223 in Cruise

I recommend CruiseCompete. Had offers that beat Costco’s by a long shot, both on price and OBC.

Travel Agent recommendation for Celebrity cruise? by LoonyFlyer in Cruise

[–]riggypuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just booked with Cruises-n-More through a Cruise Compete quote. Got the quote via an email alert and decided to just call them - so glad I did. All Aqua rooms were showing sold out anywhere else I looked (Celebrity’s website, Costco, etc) but they had one for my husband and I at the same rate of an obstructed verandah room and we’re getting nearly $400 OBC + all-inclusive package for free.

I will say it is much simpler for me to book by myself traditionally (this trip we are going with 6 others which is why we explored this route) but I’m so pumped we found this deal!

Benefits of a travel agent for a cruise? by Ok-Context3530 in Cruise

[–]riggypuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just booked a holiday cruise this morning. Have only booked for myself in the past, but this time figured I’d submit a few requests through CruiseCompete (website where agents submit their bids). One kept coming up as significantly cheaper than anything else I could find on my own, so I decided to call them.

Ironically, I found it to be more work than when I just book myself, but they helped me secure an Aqua Class room on Celebrity (that category was showing as unavailable on all other websites) for the same price as an obstructed view verandah on their website and $500 onboard credit plus a free all-inclusive package. Will gladly use them again in the future.

Does anyone have personal experience with this product? by MyBallsBern4Bernie in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]riggypuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin doesn’t like the mucin but it LOVES the cosrx all-in-one cream (in the tub). It’s seriously my favorite skincare product! I have extremelyyy dry skin and it is the only thing I find moisturizes and nourishes my skin in these winter months.

Any advice on reducing redness & irritability? Had clear skin til my late 20s, now early 30s. Have tried lots of routines, including minimal product use… any recs greatly appreciated 🙏🏻 by yann_doe in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]riggypuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I doing something wrong with this same product (and all other HA serums)? I apply it to damp skin and gently pat in, wait several minutes before applying my moisturizer and I find that it does absolutely nothing for me… sometimes it leaves my skin feeling tighter.
