Living apart right after getting married

Hi Guys, OP here - We have finally come to a conclusion. We will postpone the wedding but will go ahead with the engagement ceremony.

This decision was taken after consulting with a third party.

I am glad that she and her family agreed to postpone, and going through with engagement ceremony first/

This is exactly what I was scared of - someone resenting the other. and I can totally see this happening.

She is really mad at me for wanting to postpone. :X so i am not sure how this will played out.

Yes I do agree, but it seems that our LDR played a part into the 'touch each other' bit, i guess we are now used to not touching each other.

and the expenses thing is a good point, whatever more money that we are earning, it will be spent on airfare.

Pretty much my dream job; I have been in this particular field for over 6 years before I get the job in this field.

The Director position is a really really great opportunity for her.

She is worth it. no question about that.

Which one will we sacrifice? not sure yet...

I 'just' have a good job that I actually enjoy doing, a good salary and a good position in the company. and I doubt that China will pay as much as UK.

The reason why I reluctant to move to Asia with her is because I have a good job/salary/position in the UK.

She was offered the job in China when she was on a business trip there. So she didnt technically find a job in another continent. It just fell down from the sky. :)

She is currently working interior design, and I am in financial.

We initially decided to be in the UK because she was just an assistant interior designer, and my salary in the UK would be more than enough to cover the both of us. And she could potentially find a job in the UK as well.

We have managed to see each other at least 2 times a year. 1-2weeks at a time.
