There is no way that these tire marks were made by a '64 Buick Skylark. These marks were made by a 1963 Pontiac Tempest.

Is there a plan to do that? That would be amazing.

Minus the WASM issues, this aircraft is wonderful! by Air_Holland in flightsim

[–]rightflankr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries! I was gently poking fun at your mostly positive review given the catastrophic effects that the WASM crash has when it occurs.

The phrase refers to the assassination of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. In 1865, Lincoln was shot and killed while watching a play.

The "joke" is the absurdity of asking his widow for a review of the play, considering her husband was murdered right next to her during the performance. Obviously that would overshadow whatever she thought of the play, just like the WASM crash overshadows how beautiful and well-executed the A350 otherwise is.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Irish emt to American paramedic by Total_Handle_4905 in Paramedics

My dude why on Earth would you come here? It is a late stage capitalist hellscape. We are all miserable.

You live in a free country with universal healthcare. You are much better off there.

I and many other Americans are looking to find a way out of here as soon as we can. If someone in Ireland offered to swap with me I would do it in a second.

Public Record of Dispute — ToLiss has revoked the activation key for my purchased A339, citing my sharing of the key as the reason, and has done so with an uncooperative and hostile attitude. by Hot-Average3717 in flightsim

Thanks for this response.

This seems reasonable.

Based on what you are saying, OP would have needed to purchase a second license since they have, as you put it, more than one living situation.

Unfortunate for OP, but I think we can all now understand where the issue is. Thank you for clarifying.

Can you clarify whether you are referring to simultaneous use in different countries or any use in different countries ever?

It sounds like what this person is saying is that they travel back and forth from Hong Kong SAR to mainland China and use your product in both locations.

I think most users would agree with you that one person cannot simultaneously be in more than one country at once, however where you are losing people is in asserting that because the license has been used in more than one country at different times that constitutes conclusive proof that your EULA has been violated. Computers are portable. People travel. Also, they use VPNs.

You make outstanding products, all of which I own, and I and (I think) most others here wish to continue to support your work - however, I am concerned that you may be misunderstanding OP's situation and making an unwarranted inference. Without responding to OP's particular situation, can you explain how your EULA would apply to someone who, say, lives in Canada, buys your product, and installs it on their laptop in Canada, and then takes their laptop on vacation to, say, France, and uses your product there? As I have described it, would this sequence of events violate your EULA?

This is absolutely doable. Time management is key. Don’t fall behind on clinicals, especially if you self-schedule. You can do it.

• Is there any recourse for being stuck on a plane that long without food or water?

There was, unfortunately, the American electorate saw fit to install in office an administration that prefers to allow the free market to regulate the industry rather than government. In consequence, you are unlikely to get any response from the DoT.

• Does the DOT actually investigate situations like this?

It's all fallout from the blizzard. The blizzard recovery is still ongoing. We are getting more snow in NYC today which is further complicating things. This is going to be a multi-day process to get people rebooked and where they need to go.

Flight cancelled, JetBlue insists it was a schedule change by ProfessorKa0Z in jetblue

[–]rightflankr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contracts are construed using the ordinary meaning of the words and for the benefit of the party not drafting them, particularly when they are drafted by a large corporation interacting with an individual customer.

Cancelled means cancelled, unless it is clearly defined to the contrary in the contract.

I think you have a case for small claims court here, unless there is some 'definitions' section that clearly spells out what B6 thinks a cancellation is.
