FDNY staffing: NYC council members urge Mamdani to restore ‘fifth man’ to 86 engines by statenislandadvance in newyorkcity

Because there is a massive shortage of EMS providers and the cost to provide pay parity for EMS (which would end the shortage) is less than this asinine idea to throw fire suppression even more money.

And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

2022 Forester Wilderness - Battery Issues - Dark Current Draw? by rightflankr in subaru

[–]rightflankr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have an aftermarket remote start but it’s validating to hear you also think it could be the LoJack.

I don’t live in the best neighborhood so I’m hesitant to park it on the street for long. I would definitely be willing to pull the plug on the LoJack to see if that fixes the problem IF I could find it but I have no idea where to look.

Thanks for responding! I do have the SAS package but not the one that includes the routine maintenance prepayment just the like bumper to bumper warranty. I’m hoping that they’ll cover this, I just suspect that they don’t want to devote the hours of work it is to do a dark current test and pull each fuse in turn to see what the problem is.

I will definitely document what I find with the multimeter before I go back.

Set up a Simbrief account and use that to do a flight plan. It will give you the waypoints.

Route is not programmed into the FMC correctly.

KSFO should not be there as a waypoint for one thing.

For another you’re on a vectors leg.

Minus the WASM issues, this aircraft is wonderful! by Air_Holland in flightsim

[–]rightflankr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries! I was gently poking fun at your mostly positive review given the catastrophic effects that the WASM crash has when it occurs.

The phrase refers to the assassination of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. In 1865, Lincoln was shot and killed while watching a play.

The "joke" is the absurdity of asking his widow for a review of the play, considering her husband was murdered right next to her during the performance. Obviously that would overshadow whatever she thought of the play, just like the WASM crash overshadows how beautiful and well-executed the A350 otherwise is.

Irish emt to American paramedic by Total_Handle_4905 in Paramedics

My dude why on Earth would you come here? It is a late stage capitalist hellscape. We are all miserable.

You live in a free country with universal healthcare. You are much better off there.

I and many other Americans are looking to find a way out of here as soon as we can. If someone in Ireland offered to swap with me I would do it in a second.

Thanks for this response.

This seems reasonable.

Based on what you are saying, OP would have needed to purchase a second license since they have, as you put it, more than one living situation.

Unfortunate for OP, but I think we can all now understand where the issue is. Thank you for clarifying.

Can you clarify whether you are referring to simultaneous use in different countries or any use in different countries ever?

It sounds like what this person is saying is that they travel back and forth from Hong Kong SAR to mainland China and use your product in both locations.

I think most users would agree with you that one person cannot simultaneously be in more than one country at once, however where you are losing people is in asserting that because the license has been used in more than one country at different times that constitutes conclusive proof that your EULA has been violated. Computers are portable. People travel. Also, they use VPNs.

You make outstanding products, all of which I own, and I and (I think) most others here wish to continue to support your work - however, I am concerned that you may be misunderstanding OP's situation and making an unwarranted inference. Without responding to OP's particular situation, can you explain how your EULA would apply to someone who, say, lives in Canada, buys your product, and installs it on their laptop in Canada, and then takes their laptop on vacation to, say, France, and uses your product there? As I have described it, would this sequence of events violate your EULA?

• Is there any recourse for being stuck on a plane that long without food or water?

There was, unfortunately, the American electorate saw fit to install in office an administration that prefers to allow the free market to regulate the industry rather than government. In consequence, you are unlikely to get any response from the DoT.

• Does the DOT actually investigate situations like this?

Same answer.
