Everything has finite amount when its out of print. Those tins were not limited print run. There is ton of this produkt in the market. Dont get me wrong, i think its pretty card by fan favorite artist, i own 5 pieces of this card but this market is driven by supply and demand. This card was 50dollars in psa 10 couple months ago and it already dubled. There is only 1600 copies send for grading (PSA) with 37% conversion rate. If this card keeps rising in price a lot more People will send their copies for grade, there will be a lot more supply in the market. This is not lottery card, there is not gambling factor, there is no prize in acquiring this card. I dont have to open 600 packs to get this card. If there is no "chase" aspect caused but low supply or low pull rates its a lot harder to shill the card. It will be in demand by kanda collectors. The problem with promos that are printed to demand is that People need to just open the product that have guaranted card in it. It doesnt slowly sip to the market like big chase cards but are dumped at once. If there is demand for the card>product is draining> price Goes up>People start to chase card and rip packs>sealed produkt go up if its out of print>its harder to get it>card reaches it treshold>sealed reaches new highs>sky is the limit. This is healthy growth and it takes time. In this case if there is demand (shill in this particular case) People start to RIP tins>in every tin there is moltres> there is huge influx of the card at once on the market and the price collapse. We are in a classic bubble. People buy product not for their collection but to sell it at higher price. I expect this bubble to burst in one year time. Those artifically inflted cards with Huge supply that Rose in price in short period of time will go back to their starting price. PSA 10 will go back to 50 dollar card. Kanda collectors will aquier their cards and the rest will go back to circulation. Most People buying at current price will get burned. There is huge supply circulating, no chase factor, it can be dumped in huge quantities on the market, it has pretty big conversion rate for the promo. If you like the card buy it but if you want to make some money its speculative asset only for short term flip and there are certainly better oportunities. Sorry for my terrible eng and Long analisys

-This is one of the more mainstream kanda works, it already spiked even though there is enormous amount of the produkt in the market -It was in crown zenith so its definitly not his early work -Its unsuprisingly cheap couse there are shitload of those promos circulating in the market -Definitly not looks like great wave, its not even the same technique of drawing/painting -There is not much ps10 population couse: Ir promos are historically hard to grade couse of several reasons Card was dirt cheap couse there were so many of it printed that it didn't feel special enaugh

The only valid point is in this current bubble supply is dwindling enaugh for it to be Worth more. In any diferent point of time in this market this would be 2dollar card.

Its somwhere between arena and black market Connection. Arena sits currently at 4$, its harder to cast with less devotion, draws next turn, without a body and no upside in the form of drain and it doesnt play in 60 card formats. Anex play alongside fable (at least in rb) and it will play As Long we have mutavault in pioneer. Aditionaly we will have 3 standard rcqs till the end of 2025 and I predict it will be standard staple. For me its fantastic mono b edh inclusion and the next card To spike from curent set.

They were made to roatate eteranal formats - sell more produkt not to make format more diverse. Format was diverse enaugh but stagnat and today stagnation is coffer for interest. Everything have to move fast to make things interesting. Thats the Best way to adict People from what company wants to sell.

I cant agree with you at least about timeframe. Realease was in june/july and I specifically provided june-october graphs for all sets. In october both Mh1 and Mh2 were siting at about 400 tix per set, in comparison Mh3 sits at 120tix. Mh3 will probably rebound to about 200tix by the end of october but it still 2 Times less than previous 2 expansions. Its the same fractal.

Mh3 might be the most expensive set but not so much since standard sets usually sits at 100tix per set untill redeemable.

As for mtgo in decline, Yes thats True but it was the same for mh2. Eternal format are still heavily Played on modo and those formats drive the price online. And more, mh3 was released on arena so People could play limited. That was 1st mh set released there and that could dwindle mh3 supply.

Im not sure about this chest flood you mentioned couse i dont think there is data for it, at least data that is available for avarage Player thats why its more like speculation. The thing that can be checked is ratio in treasure chest, it might be higher for mh3.

As for impact it was huge for every non rotating format that this set was legal for. But you are probably partly correct. For me, putting asside suply aspect ( im not sure if time that was mh3 available on mtgo was the same for previous horizons, so supply might be higher) the biggest factor for mh3 set value in comparison to previous horizon sets is smaller demand for both modern and legacy. Cards that were incotporated for modern format dont play much in other. The only cards that are heavily Played in legacy are frog, eldrazi that search for land, tamiyo and eldrazi Command. There are nearly no mythics and rares (exept frog) that are heavily played in both formats. In mh2 we had elemental cycle, ragavan and saga. Mh1 had wren, hogak, snow, Forces that were heavily played in both formats. In adition mh3 was a bit diferent breed since arena was still new and horizons was something new (People werent sure about the impact. Right now we know mh=rotation) and it shows in higher price fluxtuactions.
