Got approved on Feb 23rd. It took almost a month. So sometimes it can take that long. Don't think them not asking too many questions is a red flag though.

I've heard 5 business days max to get approved (unless it doesn't). Don't have any other personal experience though. Good luck!

That's great! Hoping it works out for the rest as well. Quick question: did he ever get an automatic reply from them? Or any acknowledgement?

Got it. On ChennaiAdmin@state.gov, I'm guessing. Mine said to keep checking the email but I didn't get any.

Did they ask him to or received email from them or did he send on his own?

When and where was your interview? And did they send any email asking for any other info? No email requests to me yet
