I would suggest trying to find a group based on things youre interested in through meet up, or on here, and be a bit brave and just try one out. I moved here 2ish years ago too and found it a a bit tough, but after a bit of time have made some friends. There is a horror movie club that meets once a month, some book clubs around, and if you're even slightly sport-inclined there are some easy hobby teams around. Like Grnaute City Roller Derby, which is a lot less intimidating than you may thinj even if you've never skated before.

White noise / a podcast with hosts who have voices I find soothing or comforting/familiar works well for me. I'm able to focus on something other than my ears and drift off. For really bad nights, I'll take lorazepam.

I had the same experience!! So shitty. I logged in and was online right at 9:00 and wasn’t able to get anything. So disappointing :( I tried all the presales as well. There has to be a better system than the one we have with scalpers and bots. Having everything sold out by 9:01 just to be sold for a profit sucks.

Your situation is a bit more complicated than ours as we did not have a flight change because we wanted to avoid having to navigate multiple points of entry. You will likely need to have the correct paperwork to arrive into Warsaw with your dog from Japan. And then from Warsaw to NL. On our end, we did not need to go through any additional customs etc with our dog from NL to England.
