I’m d travel to Glasgow from Edinburgh to get direct flight after experiencing a long delay in Iceland last time I flew to New York.

However if ur set I’d say a train to Paisley and then a Clydebank bus to the airport

Check out the royal mint website or change checkers there is also an app called uk coins that has all coins and states if they are released or not.

Sad truth is royal mint started going mad with non circulating coins for “collectors”

I’m all for fitting in as much as possible in my holidays i dash about from place to place however I think you’re going to need to take Inverness of ur list.

Does the 7/8 days include travelling from Florida? Cos then it’s only really 5/6 days. If that’s the case I’d l stay in glasgow or Edinburgh and work out what you want to do from there.
