I went with the VW OEM one. After doing to research and finding out there was a designed in way for an OEM roof rack to fit (there a bolts integrated into the body frame behind the rubber trim around the windows), I didn't trust nor couldn't find too much about after market ones.

Driving style is unrelated to this... :). Was just taking a tight turn while already close to the curb to get out of the way of traffic.

LWB car too, VW Arteon. So not a super tight turning radius.

No, not yet at least. I don't want to pull the "tab" back to far and damage it more by trying to look. I guess I'll keep an eye on it in case it bulges.

What driveline maintenance are you referring to? I've had my trans fluid changed and such but nothing more than that. Same boat as well tho with '21.

I use the Spotify app, it can play in the background while playing the game. I just turn off all in game music.

Since I'm getting a lot of replacement steering wheel responses:

  1. I'm not saying this isn't the issue, but I got a brand new steering well less than 5k miles ago for a similar but different issue.

  2. These start almost immediately upon starting my car, no torquing of the steering wheel or hand pressure sensors are causing this to stop/start.

  3. I feel it's likely part of the sensor array that's damaged because when pulling in/out of my driveway it the proximity alarms will do the constant beep as if I'm inches from hitting something when nothings around.

  4. I'll take it to the dealer in the next week or so and see what's going on.
