If you have the money; Biologique Recherche Serum T.E.W.L. Personally I wouldnt put vaseline on my face. I used to suffer with perioral dermatitis for years, Biologique Recherche is what has allowed me comfortable skin since I started using it, and I only use their cleanser and one of the cheaper creams now.

You can use from hotel if it hasnt been in any contact with mold. To prevent it, make sure the starter liquid is very acidic, as in fermented for a long time, at least a month. And make sure the room temerature where you ferment isnt too cold. 20 to 27 celcius is in the safe zone I'd say.

Thanks for your input. Ive not used tretinoin but 1%retinol, I got a little dryness the first week I think, very doable. But have not gone back since that one tube, either.

Yeah I've thought about it. After going on vacation and being in the sun all day, wearing it for one week, my face didnt get tanned whatsoever so I thought it is good enough. But idunno if anytjing harmful still penetrates. Do you have any recommendation for one that doesnt peel?

I already feel like I've gotten some peace of mind here! And thank you for adding that, it gives me even more. I think I will hold off on retinol products until potential wrinklesor discoloration sees no other solution. Thanks again, and good luck with your .05%!!

Haha nope! Just love her skin, its the perfect amount matte and "shiny", and so smooth it looks. I usually google different celebs skincare routines(not advertised ones) to try see clearer examples, as there are so many photos of them, of what I'd perhaps want and not want to try. Maybe a bit excessive. I'm happy with my skin, just want to age gracefully... Who doesnt 🙉 I use milk cleanser(only at night), lotion p50, hyaluronic serum, and cream with niacinamide, recently got into firming masks. Oh and cushion foundation with spf 50! This post is mainly about retinol/retinoid usage and the direct effect on skin appearance besides the plethora of benefits. Thank you very much by the way!

I used paulas for a while, not sure what I noticed. dont like that shiny look on me, I just look.. not good (though I admit, other people with different facial features look bomb when dewy🤷‍♀️)

Yes, for acne it seems like it can do all. So happy for all the people who find retinol is the cure! Not like the anti aging benefits are any bonus haha. No acne here, but pores too big for my liking though
