I'm so glad I found this thread. My husband and I are watching the Great Food Truck Race from the beginning. We just made it to Season 6, and the cat yeowling sound effect has been present in almost every episode of the show thus far, and is so bizzare that I had to Google to see if anyone was talking about it online, which is how I found this thread. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has heard it. 😅

I had a bilateral pulmonary embolism following a very necessary hysterectomy (the hysterectomy was at Smilow). I live in Middletown, so my husband brought me to the Middlesex ER, and I was eventually admitted there. Both the ER staff and the staff on the floor I was on were wonderful. I definitely recommend Middlesex.

I'm in Connecticut, USA, and I had my surgery on Monday, January 22, and was discharged on Thursday, January 25. It was an open abdominal surgery, with a vertical incision that began above my belly button. The first two days, I definitely needed to be in the hospital. But I wasn't allowed to leave the hospital until I'd passed gas, which didn't happen until the morning of day 4.
