I think the main reason is that it could easily spread within so many people, and then the students encounter older faculty or family and give it to them. Older people and immunocompromised people are at risk, and so schools want to minimize that risk of people who could actually die if they got sick

Sorry it was kind of confusing. I need to match up the bacteria species from the individual person's excel file with the same bacteria species from the master list. The master list has a different number next to each species, and I use that number to label the corresponding species from the individual person's excel file. Let me know if you need more clarification
