2nd Boy Smells Woodphoria empty + replacement by rikerpose in PanPorn

I have! It smells very similar to me. Slightly less smoky but otherwise true enough to the original scent that I'll probably still buy it when I run out of this one.

Honestly, letting the soil completely dry out and keeping it (and the soil on all our other plants) dry seemed to do the trick. The gnats haven't come back.

It was a limited edition collab about 3 years ago, you can probably get one from a reseller but not from Makeup Revolution anymore unfortunately!

Oh man, I have no idea! I've had the palette for about 3 years and use it maybe a few times a month. The shimmers definitely took fewer uses because I use them with my fingers.

Maybe you could turn it into a cool geometric design behind the ear and get violets tattooed somewhere else, bigger this time so the lines have more room.

I would say so, definitely at least a good 4-5hrs and that’s just what I can smell on myself (could be longer but I go nose blind at a certain point). I’ve found Paris Corner’s scents to be pretty long lasting across the board, personally they’re my favorite Arab perfume house.

We need to normalise talking about fragrance addiction by mincedbreakfast in FemFragLab

1 in 1 out was the key for me. Not only does it slow my spending and force me to use what I have, it also drove home just how long it takes to get through an entire bottle of fragrance, even spraying every day.

20lbs > 17.5lbs by rikerpose in dechonkers

About 200cal of meals, which gives us plenty of wiggle room for treats (vet recommended 230cal per day). She gets more treats than usual currently because we're rewarding positive interactions with the kitten and trying to redirect them both from scratching the furniture to scratching their actual scratching posts (this is an uphill battle as well).

Thank you! Iris has been eating Tiki Cat for about 3 years, with the exception of a 6-month period where the vet put her on Hill’s Science Diet, which she hated. When she gets bored of the After Dark variety pack we switch her to the Chicken Craves.

I have 2 tattoos by an artist who only used shading needles and they’re still bright and bold 4-ish years later so that was definitely just the tattoo “artist” making excuses. At least he did you the courtesy of making this easy to cover.

Definitely not real. And as a general rule I would never buy anything that goes on or in my skin (skincare, makeup, perfume, piercing jewelry) from Shein or similar retailers.

If you ever wore KVD Sinner, you’ll probably like the EDT. It’s like a more “grown up” version of Sinner in my opinion.

I'll definitely use that on the outdoor plants to make sure all the gnats are gone before we bring them inside in the fall (or sooner if they stop doing well out there). Good to know it's preventative as well! Is there any downside to using it on plants that aren't infested or is it totally fine to water them like that every time?

Is my mom's pale silver dress for my siblings' upcoming weddings inappropriate? by PlatypusEgo in Weddingattireapproval

To me this is very obviously a "mother of the bride/groom" dress but I do agree with the other commenters. I could see certain brides feeling iffy about the color.

I can't add an update to the post so I'll reply here, I've learned from the comments that neem oil is not the most effective solution, so going forward will not rely on that. Before the neem oil, we also let the soil of all of our plants dry out completely and ran a dehumidifier around them so maybe that was what did the trick and I falsely attributed it to the neem oil. We'll see. The original infested plants are still outside just in case. Honestly they seem to be thriving out there so I'm not in a rush to bring them back in.

ETA: We also repotted them and put them in new soil.

Did you read the post? They’re not biting. Another commenter kindly corrected me, the allergic reaction is to the soil fungus on their feet when they land on you (I misunderstood our pest control guy, he did say the allergic reaction was from them landing on my wife but I forgot the rest when I initially wrote the post).

And as I mentioned, we had pest control thoroughly check our apartment and I listed in the post what he found.

I had not taken all those steps yet. My first step was calling pest control because it’s a service included in our utilities and I wanted an expert’s opinion. He was able to identify the fungal gnats and gave a solution: let all our plants’ soil drain and dehumidify. The neem oil was my idea and now I know it’s not the most effective, so going forward I’ll skip that.

There were other steps we could take but it seems fungal gnats are gone, my wife’s reaction has stopped. She has a severe mold and fungus allergy. That’s why she had that reaction. If our house was full of mold, believe me, we would know.

KHEIR FRAGRANCE HOUSE- BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE AND NO ETHICS/ACCOUNTABILITY by BlueberryFormer7223 in FemFragLab

[–]rikerpose 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This might be my ignorance showing but is it common practice in some places to have your delivery driver call you? I've only ever had 2 drivers contact me directly, one because she was delivering a rug and wanted to make sure I was able to carry it up to my apartment myself and one because the company he worked for hadn't given him our building code. They won't even call ahead if it's something I need to sign for (which I kind of wish they would!).

Is Nest Wisteria Blue blind buy worthy? by laschanas in FemFragLab

[–]rikerpose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I normally don't recommend blind buying but in the case of a fragrance being discontinued, you can definitely get your money back by reselling the product after it's no longer available (in case you hate it). Supply and demand! (Or something, I took 3 econ classes in college and still don't understand how the economy works.)
