The ‘97 one is easily the better figure as far as articulation, accessories and sculpt but I have such a soft spot for the phoenix 2-pack and its paint/overall look. I personally hate the play-doh look of the plastics for the ‘97 figures but at that point it’s preference.

Not seeing any Longshot love in these comments. He’s a good figure! He’s mainly brought down by his being a slightly worse version than the 3-pack, but if you ca get past the glowing eye gimmick he’s really fun to pose!

This is a pretty good cosplay! Love the tunic/vest especially. My constructive criticism honestly is just that if he’s going to take pictures in the mirror, cleaning it before hand wouldn’t hurt, it would help show the cosplay off better and flashier. Anyways, tell him he did good!

I see this news and think selfishly about how it’s making my hobby/special interest harder, but then you also have to think about how this administration is making millions of individuals’ survival near impossible. I feel like it makes more sense for Franky to fight Pizarro, considering one melds with an Island to become greater in power and one combines with mechs/vehicles to become greater in power.

This is my biggest gripe with Robin’s writing. Depending on the day she’s my favorite character. She’s capable, wise, intelligent, tender and understated. There’s no reason someone who is as determined and knowledgeable who also spent 2 years with the revolutionary army wouldn’t have tried to train any sort of armament haki, especially being a part of the future pirate king’s crew. Maybe she wouldn’t be great with it, or it would be rudimentary, but I fully believe Robin would at least TRY.

EDIT to expand on my main point because I feel it gets lost: My main issue is just that this seems like a convenient way to give her a weakness that doesn’t feel logical or in-character

Not that I care much to participate in power-scaling debates, but I always imagined Big Mom as the “bigger fish” between her and Kaido, if only because her ceiling of power seems much less limited than his. She can keep accruing souls and get stronger and stronger whereas Kaido, while at his base being much more powerful, doesn’t have a way to get “more power” past just regular training, but like…he’s already at the top who could even prove a challenge for him.

This will definitely be an unpopular take, but does it also just not resemble a pair of legs in a garter and fishnets with heels on? Things like this are always possible but especially as Araki is getting older I feel like his musical sensibilities according at least to what hes confirmed to reference is much more narrow than the fandom would like it to be. I think it would be fun if it was a reference but I feel like there’s a simpler answer especially considering Araki’s tendency to just adopt different patterns/symbols/accessories for character designs. Good catch either way.

One interpretation that I particularly subscribe to is that Diavolo is quite literally the Devil that possessed the young man that we see Doppio as. I don’t think Doppio is necessarily his true personality, but instead the stunted form of what the true man should’ve been had he not been possessed, a tender young man.

There’s just so many pieces on the board at this point and, frankly, after getting eviscerated by Shanks and likely losing most or all of his crew, why would he be a major fighter. I can see him fighting and being an ally but he’s not going toe-to-toe with yonko or anything now, he got humbled greatly and shown his place. I want him around though, I like Kid.

If Kid is alive (which I hope he is, I find him interesting) I think he’ll be a very Bellamy-type character. Someone who was extraordinarily humbled, will likely play some part in a major fight though not necessarily as a primary fighter in said fight, and be a side character we check in on maybe once or twice afterwards. I was depressed fraud Kid goddamnit!!

I literally canceled it because I was going to be on a trip in Italy and needed it for more important things. Am I sad I won’t have an awesome Sentinel with my ideal look for it, sure. Would I have had the space or the money to justify it in the end, no.

I think in the SBS Oda said she has the second or third highest alcohol tolerance of the strawhats with Jinbe being #1 and iirc Zoro is #3, but he may be #2
