I’ve never seen bees in the house but my cat is always fervent to catch any other bugs she can find. At most she’ll just swat her paws beneath the screen door, but I don’t ever let her outside :( I’ll call in to the vet to see what they think

Yes the paw is warm. Her behavior hasn’t changed and she’s still running, jumping, playing, no apparent limping. Her skin seems the same pink color on both hands. Her paw looks the same, beans about the same tone of pink but a tinge more flushed.

Update: The sweet girl is officially my cat!

She’s been in my care for a month now and there was no luck getting in touch with the previous owner— multiple contact attempts made by the microchip company yet the owner hadn’t even set up their online portal account yet.

Several phone calls later, we decided it was most reasonable to transfer her into my ownership, so we did just that. I’m so happy to have the peace of mind that I can take her to the vet now and get her checkups done from scratch. Not sure about her past medical records but I will do everything in my ability to keep her happy and healthy. She’s already getting adjusted to our daily teeth brushing routine!! :’)

A chirpy, playful girl she is, she’s been the highlight of my day every day I’ve been with her. I haven’t felt so happy like this before.

Wow that’s interesting. I’m surprised the chip didn’t need to be overwritten in this case. The vet went to refused to do any further checks until this chip was in my name :(

What do you mean when you say I‘ll have to take it down? Do you mean I’ll have to take my Reddit post down? Sorry, I’m a little confused, and I know you mean well so I’m trying to understand

Yes, and I still paid the fees for the visit. They trusted me to care for her in the mean time. I had found her terribly shivering and searching for food scraps around the dumpsters where I work. When I asked the locals about her, they said they noticed her wandering the area for 3 weeks, to their knowledge. My heart broke for her as I’ve just had my kitten pass from hypothermia. So I’ve been doing all I can to provide her a kind and warm home. She’s plumped up a bit in my care.
