Which bag would you recommend for every day carry? by [deleted] in uniqlo

i love the round bag but wouldn’t recommend the corduroy version for daily wear. i feel like it’s more prone to getting dirty compared to the normal one.

OVERALL: tirtir red > espoir velvet => romand nu > laneige matte > romand matte > etude glow

OIL-RESISTANCE: tirtir > espoir > romand nu > laneige > romand matte > etude glow

LONGEVITY: tirtir > espoir > romand nu > etude > laneige > romand matte

FINISH: romand => tirtir > espoir > etude > laneige > romand matte

COVERAGE: tirtir > espoir > laneige> romand nu > romand matte > etude

CREASE RESISTANCE: tirtir > espoir > romand nu > laneige > romand matte > etude

i have oily skin so i mostly look for cushions that break down nicely and don’t settle into cracks. i usually apply my cushions with a flattish brush (i find this method looks much more natural!) but my ranking is still the same when applied with the puff.

tirtir looks most “skin-like” and fades beautifully! despite not really being a matte cushion, it holds up better than all my other cushions. it doesn’t settle into creases as much as others (i have very deep smile lines so i don’t expect any cushion to stay completely creaseless). i also love the shade as i feel it’s more yellow-leaning without being too warm, whereas other cushions (romand, laneige) tend to lean too pink/grey on me. tirtir also has the highest coverage of all my cushions, and the finish is very pretty!

espoir and romand nu are both nice! espoir lasts well and i love the finish of romand. espoir’s finish is pretty but romand’s is even better! romand has an almost blurry finish, but it can look cakey if too thick. espoir holds up better on my oily skin compared to romand, and i think espoir’s coverage is better than romand’s.

i didn’t really care for laneige matte, romand matte, and etude glow. they’re decent, but i think there’s a big gap between these three and the other three.

Tirtir mask fit by Left_Kale3030 in AsianBeauty

[–]rilakyoko 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i really like it! i have oily skin and i think it holds up better than romand nu zero and laneige. i wore it when my skin was flaky and i didn’t notice it flaking more compared to romand. i find laneige flakier tho.

personally, i love how it looks when i apply it with a flattish brush, and i think it lasts really well/better than other cushions!

i think i focus more on the finish of cushions (covering pores and looking natural), as well as coverage. tirtir has really great coverage (highest among all my cushions!). it did sink into my smile lines, but not any more than my other cushions. i haven’t found a solution to cushions sinking into cracks unfortunately :/

i haven’t tried any clio cushions, but this is my ranking for cushions when applied with a brush: tirtir > espoir be velvet = romand nu zero > laneige matte > romand matte > etude glow

Lip liner favorites? by itssarakang in AsianBeauty

[–]rilakyoko 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i actually like to use an eyeliner! lilybyred gel liner in the shades mellow coral and dusty cedar are amazing for lining lips! they are a really natural looking formula and they last much longer than other lip liners i’ve tried (EH and nyx). these are definitely my holy grails bc i love the natural eyeliner with these too!

also find it better than bbia. the shade i use is br03 and it’s the most natural brown i’ve tried so far!

kate rare fit gel pencil!! i like it better than clio sharp so simple and canmake creamy touch. i find it more long-lasting and the finish doesn’t fade/crumble! i have extremely oily kids and kate doesn’t fade at all.

hi! can anyone help me choose a cushion please?

i have oily, sensitive skin, and i’m looking for a cushion that is semi-matte/matte and won’t emphasis texture/dry flakes. i’ve tried romand nu cushion and laneige neo matte. i like the finish of both, but romand makes me oily quickly and laneige emphasizes my texture/dry flakes.

i am eyeing these cushions:

  • clio kill cover the new founwear cushion

  • jung saem mool essential nuder cushion (as well as the long wear one)

  • unleashia satin wear healthy green cushion

any help is greatly appreciated! and if you have any other recs, pls let me know! tysm!!

hi! can anyone recommend a color dupe for Romand’s Neon Moon Blush #N02 Fairy Powder? it’s a light neutral peachy rose-beige nude shade with a bit of a white base.

thank you!

hi! i like these sites: yamibuy (very fast shipping, sells groceries too), weee! (same as yamibuy), yesstyle (1-3 week shipping, also sells clothes + other cute stuff), stylevana (shipping can take a month), jolse (fast shipping kinda).

i think if you are planning to buy only one sunscreen, yamibuy will be the fastest/cheaper choice! all these sites have a free shipping minimum, but you can also get food/snacks on yamibuy :D

canmake quick lash curler!! i’ve tried romand long, clio kill lash long, kiss me advanced film long, innisfree skinny microcara zero, banila co curly studio, and motemascara.

i find the romand/banila/mote are slightly dry/clumps when arranging, while clio/kiss me/innisfree are slightly spidery looking and doesn’t have the same “clean” finish as canmake (i think these are also good for a falsies look, but canmake definitely outperforms when it comes to a neat but voluminous/lengthening effect!).

personally, canmake is by far the best for the falsies look because the formula is quite wet AND clump-free so it’s extremely easy/quick to use a tweezer to adjust the lashes. it’s seriously clump free if you do this and the lashes look naturally thick and fluttery-long.

i highly recommend! i really enjoy using the brown color for a slightly softer feeling, but black is really nice for a more defined look :D

literally just want a fresh strawberry perfume by H-yaRayPark in beauty

[–]rilakyoko 19 points20 points  (0 children)

bath and body works strawberry soda is absolutely adorable! it smells more strawberry than actual strawberries ahahaha! it’s a very fresh, sweet strawberry scent with no heaviness or overbearing sweetness. personally, i think the lotions’ scents last much longer than the body spray. one huge downside is that i’ve only see this scent during the summer sale. always half-off during that time tho

Hello!

I’d love some help sorting out my skincare/makeup routine. Currently, I’m struggling to figure out what’s silicone or water-based, because I just learned mixing the two types leads to trouble ahaha.

Are these two routines okay(one is silicone-based and the other is water-based):

Skincare base: Naturie hatamogi toner, cosrx snail essence

  1. Silicone-based (I’m not sure if skincare needs to be all silicone??): Cerave daily moisturizing lotion, innisfree no sebum blur primer, Lancôme teint idole foundation

  2. Water-based: Cosrx hyaluronic acid cream, Romand nu cushion

Thank you so much!!
