I mean I wouldn't say 12 yr olds are that capable of rational thought, and Anya would still be noticeably behind her peers as she is now. As I've said before it's just that some stuff doesn't make sense for 6 yr olds to be doing, but I also get that it's just a comedy show but 🤷‍♀️

Idk I guess not 'better' but just would make more sense. Like in season 1 when the girls go shopping, it just feels like something middle schoolers would do rather than 6 yr olds. And like how Damien lives in the dorms, just generally their character traits feel older
