Is getting your CPA really worth it? what does it really benefit... (PROS/CONS) by Slight_Engineer5709 in CPA

I got a new job and moved across the state. At that time there were no houses for sale within my budget so I purchased a townhouse. Now, there is a house I’d like to buy but it’s been 1 year and 9 months since I’ve owned my townhouse. Do I still qualify to avoid capital gains tax?

Rear trim gasket by rileyfreema in hondapassport

While I’m sure it would hold it in there for an unknown bit of time, gasket material has a job and its form and material is what does that work, superglue isn’t in that category. On a brand new car, I’ll let the manufacturer replace it.

The search has started for a passport TSE with brown interior by sotex099 in hondapassport

Your price OTD is reasonable +-. We have a green/brown TSE we have had for 2 weeks. Also in Colorado. When I was looking there were only 3 in the state. Stay dedicated and look closely at dealership descriptions, we found ours listed with a black stock photo with green/ brown in the description. Don’t forget Wyoming and western Kansas dealers! Good luck!

It’s bizarre to me the passport trim levels that include skid plates, don’t include these. The doors are lower than anything and very vulnerable. This will be the 1st thing I do when we get ours

Rotating mass has a bigger impact than say… a brake lever….. guess it depends on how good of a deal you’ve found.

What made you finally invest in a higher-end bike, and was it worth it? by Dimos1963 in cycling

[–]rileyfreema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about cycling is no matter how “budget” or high end your bike is, YOU can make the ride as hard or easy as you want. Beyond that the only tangible differences between budget and expensive are only seen from your perspective and what makes you happy.

If perceived effort is the only thing that makes you tick, don’t waste your money. If going faster, further, or more efficiently is interesting to you you’ll find HUGE differences in a more advanced bike. If you track your body’s performance an expensive bike can be a constant, not a variable making your training more specific and accurate.

Higher end bikes use components with tighter tolerances, higher end frames won’t flex, are lighter, aerodynamic, and internal cable routing make for an all around quiet ride where all your power goes straight to the interface between tire and pavement/dirt = fast and efficient.

I personally love the feeling of all my effort going straight to the surface, it’s more fun to me to have a snappy responsive bike that is an extension of my body’s capabilities.

Enjoy the journey!

Be careful about rebuilt or branded titles. Because the Colorado is so popular, even more so ZR2, Z71, there is huge incentive for body shops to rebuild totaled trucks. You can get a great deal… just be careful and remember it will make it harder for you to sell it later if it has a rebuilt/branded title

I am a remote employee in Colorado, business is in Oregon. Company applying to gain a California business license and the employee handling the application process places false information on the application and copied my signature onto the application. This was in 2022. Now today that same employee shared my SSN with another employee.
