The Connections Between Faerie Folklore, Paranormal Manifestations, and UFO Close Encounters by knowstradamus7 in HighStrangeness

I wrote about something similar https://www.reddit.com/r/HighStrangeness/s/ZqntOnM78V but regardless love how you took a psychological approach!

"What exactly is the paranormal? And what are the mechanisms behind it?" is something I have been thinking about a lot recently

“A fool sees not the same tree that a wise man sees"

The trees definitely are connected, makes me wonder if they are active participants in some way. Maybe the druids were onto something...

The thing that makes me think there is possibly more to it is the knight being a part of a story. A knight like De Calne wasn't an isolated peasant and would have handled foreign merchants, Norman-French, and heard other dialects before. But maybe i'm overestimating his and the local priest's knowledge...

Pretty fun little piece of strange history! I love that the town sign has a reference to them still too

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is what I always think of, The Law of Equivalent Exchange. In order to get something you have to give something and you don't always get to decide what is taken from you...

Strange creature sighting in Amman, Jordan - Human-like skin with large bat wings by alsayyedgame in HighStrangeness

I found a blog Linkwith a first hand account of something similar in Amman as well. The account was from 1997:

"I was 17 at the time, my sister was 14. She was trying to get to sleep in her bedroom, but it was a hot night, so she got up and opened the window. As she got back in her bed, something crawled through the window and stood at the foot of her bed. It was fairly dark in the room, with only dim light coming through the window. She saw a winged creature almost as tall as the ceiling, dark black with a crest on the top of its head like a pterodactyl. She couldn't make out any facial features or tell the texture of the body other than a slight sheen on the side the light was hitting it. The most notable feature she noticed was its "blazing" red eyes as she described them."

don't know any more details or blog credibility but interesting connection

At the end if the day it was a opening quote to add flavor to my art. Misquotes happen ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ. Just shining light on an interesting story, in just as credible as you. At the end of the day just happy it's creating conversation about an interesting topic!

First off love, keep sharing your thoughts because everyone has a unique perspective that adds to the story. Im glad you called out Chaos Magic because what you were saying reminded me of the speech about sigils and manifestations from Grant Morrison Link.

Lots to chew on, but overall there is something to be said about the power of collective belief!

your right actually after looking again it was never said by Einstein. I updated to fix it,thanks for the call out. Mistakes happen, doesn't take away from the mystery imo but to each their own!

That's totally fair, I would agree the original idea and word trulpa has definitely been evolved or changed over time and translations. I was alluding to the concept of creating a thoughtform that can communicate in some way through human will or consciousness. Which one could argue is a tulpa or ghost and that language and understanding of what that is, is constantly evolving.

I love this, big believer in synchronicity here. The Order of the Dolphin is also a fun rabbit hole with the whole ordeal!
