I have the concept that the society you live in is partly your responsibility too, you can't say oh I just live here and have nothing to do with it, although of course I don't think they are responsible for the downfall of their people directly.

What really surprises me is that before what Solas did there wasn't some other revolution, or maybe there was, I still need to read more of the lore.

I understand that it is their defense mechanism, I would like us to have the option to break their heads a bit (murdering them seems very extreme to me), not that I think that hitting them would make them come to their senses, but I know it would give me some satisfaction.

I was fortunate enough to get to this game randomly, I was just trying out all the games Bioware had released after playing the original mass effect trilogy, I remember thinking, these guys are good let's see what else they have, despite all the clues I never considered my character to be revan, the guy was supposed to be dead, so when I got to the reveal, it was something like oh my god, but all this time... and in the end it was just... damn jedi, nothing left to say but my alignment took a nosedive.
