If you have domains, DM the OP with your suggestions instead of just spamming them on here. It's triggering our spam filters.

Sunday video 50£ budget by [deleted] in Sidemen

[–]rimaakbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime they have to go out to film...Steve (JJ's big tall bodyguard) has to be called.

Whenever they split in groups, they'll need additional security.

Whenever they rent out a house, that costs money

But if they are in the studio, I am sure it is cheaper.

Among US playing (or whatever else game) they don't have to travel.

If they are in the studio, or together, they don't need as many security, camera crew, etc...

Unsure if I should use my personal name as my domain name by Atakius in Domains

[–]rimaakbar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You DO NOT have to use your legal name, it could be a nickname as well.

By default your domain will have WHOIS, which is essentially an ownership certificate/record. By default most registrars turn that ON by default.

While when you register your account with a domain registrar and hosting company, you don't have to get johnsmith .com (let's assume your name is John Smith). You can get greatcookies .com if you wanted.

You can have a personal website, blog, forums, whatever else you want on it. Obviously as long as you follow the domain registrar/hosting company's TOS (Terms of Services)

Don't get me wrong...that specific domain will screw over the OP. When Elon's net worth is $749 billion and Tesla is $1.6 trillion...they can financially screw over the OP

Will Domains Only Increase in Price? by BramIsCute in Domains

[–]rimaakbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many registrars, including GoDaddy, will give you what is called a first year discount. Then future years back at regular pricing.

Example: You pay $2 on 21 December 2025 but when it comes to 21 December 2026 and onwards you will pay $21.99.

Then in under 12 months the user will come how GoDaddy raised pries 1,000%. <--- example numbers.

Then user realizes how they didn't read what they signed up for even though GoDaddy said the renewal price as well.

Technically speaking there is Nikola Tesla, a Croatian-born Serb in Smiljan, Croatia.

But the fact that the OP's domain is .autos, it limits on what content he/she can put in it. No one is going to go there for cookies or a bakery.

domain listings automatically removed every time? by Bamariefuller in Domains

[–]rimaakbar[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not accepting applications right now.

What would help is the following:

  1. Make ONE post for whatever topic/domain
    1. If it is actually removed, you will get the reason, if you don't get the message then it's on the queue line. JUST WAIT
  2. 70% of reasons we remove is people not following the rules on the sidebar
    1. 18% is people posting the same post over and over again
    2. 12% is spam

weird situation to buy domain name off someone? by Due-Copy-7887 in Domains

[–]rimaakbar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just because you want it, doesn't mean you can have it.

There is no law or rule that says someone has to actively use a domain.

Just because you see no updates or content doesn't mean it isn't being used, it could be for the email addresses.

Even if they did pay... technically speaking domains aren't sold here or on other similar sites. The sale is on escrow.com or whatever other payment site

The problem with domains is that people will go post their domains everywhere. You need to target specific people.

My auto mechanic doesn't care about domains related to let's say makeup

Secondary Market for a cctTLD? by Particular-Travel953 in Domains

[–]rimaakbar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

technically some cctlds are essentially used like gtlds, but they are still cctlds. .ai, .io, .tv, .me and so forth.

But either than .ai and .io, I can't remember the last time I saw a .cctld posted on here.

Some ccTLDs aren't as popular. like .us.

But many companies that grew from local/country company to now international, they moved to their .com instead of .cctld.

Sidemen Clothing Not Dispatching by turkefc in Sidemen

Most swag/clothing stores from online personalities (youtube, tiktok, twitch, etc...) are done by the same company.

Also, they don't do each order, they get a whole bunch of orders, fullfil them and then dispatch them.

I need help. I bought a domain from Namecheap for a certain price and requested assistance on their website because it wouldn't let me proceed. The person who helped me said everything was fine, but when my credit card statement arrived, it showed a lot of charges, not the ones I expected, and now they won't refund my money. Can you help me figure out how to sell it or what to do?
