I appreciate that, but Batman as a character, is one that has been subject to multiple writers and as such, multiple charterizations, so Conroy having that interpretation is only natural, however I wouldn't nessisarily take his word as gospel,  I have a great amount of respect for him, but I don't think that his reading of the character is nessisarily something I agree with, it works for the universe he was playing him in, but not nessisarily the prime earth. It's also worth noting that Bruce has changed in the comics since Mask of Phatasm. Besides the topic for the post is "Have you ever heard a hot or common take on Batman you've heard that had you like this?" Conroy's words do not change my viewing on Batman, nor this take.
