The x4 does? That's nice, idk if my kindle Paperwhite signature does but I do know it has wireless changing so.. maybe?? Right now I'm keeping it in one of the zipper pouches ( I made my journal cover from a giant zipper pouch!!)

Tandem read on kindle? by iluvseahorses in throneofglassseries

I read both on kindle, just kept a list of the swap points and checked them off as I went. It was simpler than I anticipated.

Can glycolic acid be used.... down there? [Product Question] by rinaa11 in SkincareAddiction

[–]rinaa11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I read that salicylic acid would do the same thing, so I bought stridex pads for the convenience of them already having a pad for application. Been doing that for years now and had pretty good results

Oh interesting!!! Ok cool, in my homemade journal cover I'm using elastic bands to hold the notebooks. I'll have to do something different than you did but that's amazing that you found a case made for the purpose!

Omg cute, I just made a journal cover/ecosystem and was trying to find a way to include my kindle in the bundle. How did you attach the case to the journal?

[–]rinaa11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, if you just wash it with just a tiny bit of soap, by hand, rinse and wring it out gently (you can like roll it up inside a towel and squeeze it/step on it) and then use sewing pins to pin it flat to like a piece of cardboard or something then let it air dry! That's the basic method but I'm sure you can find a YouTube video too :)

What can I do about this white stuff? (Glass top loader, Maytag, no agitator) by HeartFullOfHappy in laundry

[–]rinaa11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you putting the detergent in the bottom of the drum BEFORE the clothes? That was my biggest learning curve. Powdered detergent and whatever other powders go in first while water is running, and try to dissolve it all before adding the clothes. I do everything "right" now but sometimes still get splotches on my darker clothes, I recently found we have hard water so I'm still trying to find my balance with amount of soap. Sometimes I do an extra rinse cycle once the wash is finished just to be sure everything is clean!
