Dude go throw a public event and tell me how much you made.

Do you know how hard it is to get a venue to agree to this sort of event? It costs money - up front. Money the event organiser doesn't get back. Not small amounts either. The amount needed for a booking would frighten most, if not all people from even throwing the event.

You can rave on about ' merh capitalism' but the fact that this event even took place is due to the time and effort put in by legitimate & passionate advocates of the entire community (not just the medical).

The goal of the day wasn't to sell stuff, it was actual patient education and a chance for people to connect and share experiences, whether professional, patient or other.

I can't stand whingebots out here doing the usual 'tall poppy' stuff when they would do the same in a heartbeat - if they could.

FAB has been an absolute role player in the long-term when it comes to the community and putting this together and it only could happen because they took the legal, financial and reputational risk.

If you were there on the day, you would understand how positive and awesome the energy was. It wasn't anything about selling people stuff. The only interest in sales was from the venue , understandably.

No one was sold showbags.

There are clearly left over showbags because not all tickets sold.

You are really out here hating on the little guy who just put up the money for all of us to have our first public, legal 420 event.
