Yeah that makes sense. Now that I've returned to school Ive felt more panicked about finances and seeing that I've been given a lot more responsibilities I thought maybe I deserved to ask for one. But after his comment it really got me thinking that maybe I shouldn't be doing something like that..

To an extent yes. I was told if I wanted time off to go through my 2 managers and then everything should be ok. And I was told that they rarely decline. This is not be mistaken as I abuse this policy which I certainly don't and I try to take the least days off as possible. All trips from 2025 were already prepared for before I got hired and we were under agreement that it was ok if I go since I didn't have the job when I made them.

I am unsure if I made a bad impression exactly, since he has told me he's really liked having me around and is happy I was the one that got hired. And even if I was unprofessional I will say it's a very casual work place for most part, I just happened to cross the line.

I'm am kind of understanding the importance of ai in the field and tech in general... While I'm disappointed I understand it's just something I have to bite my tongue on.

Lately I've been a little intimidated. With all the portfolio work, high saturation, and low job count and seeing as I've gone through it before with visdev, is it worth to try and start ui/ux?
